Not a bad starter, first we had the good cristaiati, I recommend. We really recommend not taking the grilled meat, it arrived very cooked and very bland. We asked not to have lamb put but it was served. Instead, I recommend the roasted wild boar, really good and very tender. Baked potatoes are also good, as it is very difficult to find them done like that.

Buoni gli antipasti, tagliata di bufala e arrosticini di capriolo non si mangiavano, erano gommosi peccato perché eravamo partiti bene!!!!

Non è la prima volta che vado e non ricordo se ho già lasciato una recensione, ma anche se fosse voglio premiare di nuovo questo locale: è la dimostrazione di come si possa fare cucina tradizionale con cura ed attenzione. I piatti sono semplici ma ben realizzati con piccole trovate interessanti, il prezzo è onesto ed il servizio è cortese. Non posso che consigliarlo.
Durante l’estate mettono i tavoli in piazzetta, esperienza carina ma affollata, rimango dell’idea che preferisco di gran lunga la versione invernale.

SN I was in this wonderful place where I ate a steak worthy of the name it was butter cooked to perfection excellent cured meats but the gem and the wine cellar in the cave just for that is worth a visit

After over 10 years my wife and I returned to Grotta di Tufo and it was a very good choice.
Young and kind staff, excellent dishes from the first courses (cappellacci with porcini mushrooms and handmade tagliatelle with ragù from the courtyard, made with goose, wild boar, beef and pork) to baked potatoes and desserts (cantucci which are not the classic crunchy ones, but with a heavenly flavor , accompanied by an excellent vin santo).
The house wine of Cantina Guerrieri also defends itself, both the red and the white.
Fair and honest price for high quality food
