It's a very nice and traditional restaurant. I go there often. The food is good and the portions are generous. The staff is absolutely adorable, courteous, attentive, yet discreet. The prices are good. Highly recommended.

There's a lot to say here. The food is excellent, especially the first courses, which are divided into pasta, rice, and noodles. The second courses are a little less so, but maybe it's just my taste buds that aren't calibrated. Generous portions and no post-dinner hassles, fast, impeccable service. If I went back, I'd order a second course of the first courses, all excellent.

If you like Chinese food, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is very quaint, the girls who welcome you are friendly and very helpful, and the cooking smells don't waft into the dining room, which I think is an added bonus. You can choose between a fixed menu or an à la carte menu.

The best Chinese food I have ever tried, definitely the best in Catania. Very friendly and helpful staff and a very welcoming and clean environment. Excellent value for money. Must try!

A perfect Chinese dinner! I went to the restaurant La Grande Cina in Catania and I have to say that I had a really great time! I chose the “dinner menu” formula and I left full and satisfied. The portions are generous, the quality of the dishes is really excellent, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The place is welcoming and the staff is very kind. A special mention to the girl at the cashier, who kindly made me discover a curiosity: the famous fortune cookies are not Chinese, but American (Made in USA)! A gem that made the final moment even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those looking for real Chinese cuisine and impeccable service!

All the cheeses I tried were delicious; you can really taste the care and passion they put into their production. They have an authentic, genuine flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. However, there's one product that particularly struck me and deserves a special mention: their ricotta. It's truly spectacular. Soft, velvety, and with a delicate yet intense flavor. It's not your average ricotta, but something that truly leaves you speechless. ​If you're a cheese lover and are in the area, I absolutely recommend stopping by Caseificio Fontanapietra. It's worth it just to try their ricotta. You won't regret it!
