Sala rinnovata, personale molto gentile, piatti tipici della zona, pizza eccezionale e con l’imbarazzo della scelta.
Anche per chi non mangia pizza diverse opzioni, ottimi anche i dolci.

Short Review:
I was in this Osteria at 9pm on a weekday. The restaurant is welcoming, with a pleasant rustic atmosphere and a varied menu, which can also be consulted online. The service, although courteous, was slow: we waited over 70 minutes for the pizzas. That said, the quality of the food is excellent: delicious pizzas, with light dough and fresh ingredients, among the best I've tried recently.
Fair prices (€18 for pizza, croquettes, water and cover charge), but the poor service on the final coffee left a bad taste in the mouth. I recommend the place, but keep in mind that waiting times can be long during peak hours.
Full Review:
I was in this Osteria at 9pm on a weekday. The restaurant offers a large outdoor area for outdoor dining and a welcoming indoor room. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the wood-fired oven and the pizza chefs at work. Despite the rush hour, the staff was courteous once we were escorted to the booked table, even if the rustic, slightly dated chairs were not particularly comfortable (in my case, mine was wobbly).
The timing of the service, unfortunately, was the sore point: while the starters and drinks arrived in the right time, we waited over 70 minutes for the pizzas, without there being any other courses in the meantime. It's true that the place was full, but the wait seemed excessive.
That said, the pizza made up for it: light dough, soft crust and high quality fresh ingredients. Visually and tastefully, it is among the best pizzas I have eaten in recent months, comparable to the best Neapolitan pizzerias. The portion is not particularly abundant, so I recommend accompanying it with appetizers or other items. I chose the potato croquettes, really excellent.
The menu is varied and available online, as is booking, which I highly recommend given the reputation of the place (in my case, I booked a week in advance). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks to the yellow light and the rustic style, with brick walls and details that recall a country inn. However, the modern touch is not missing: there is Wi-Fi to compensate for the poor mobile reception, essential for consulting the digital menu via QR code.
The bathroom, modern and clean, is a positive point, even if the men's bathroom lacks a toilet seat. Furthermore, the environment is lively and not suitable for those seeking silence and tranquility.
Finally, on the prices section: I spent €18, including cover charge (€2), a bottle of water (€1.50), potato croquettes (€3.50) and the pizza "And it's immediately Sunday" ( €11). Fair prices for the quality of the food, but the service left something to be desired, especially for a final episode: the coffee of one of my companions was forgotten and, despite a 20 minute wait and an initial error in the preparation, there was still charged, which I didn't appreciate.
Despite the criticisms, I recommend trying this Osteria if you are in the province of Chieti or passing through. However, keep in mind that waiting times can be long, especially during peak hours.
