A special place, excellent and plentiful food, and courteous, friendly, and very welcoming staff. I absolutely recommend eating at this restaurant if you're in Amatrice. Just the appetizer will tell you you're in the right place.

The food is good, no doubt. But you have to choose the classic "any day," when there's no rush. The service is good, but initially a bit slow because it's limited by the day's special (amatriciana day). The atmosphere is informal, like a classic Sunday restaurant.

Always the best in amatriciana and everything else. Incredible appetizers, super filling and all delicious. If you've never tried them, you absolutely have to try them. The fried focaccia, the freshly warm ricotta. The coratella, the cured meats and pecorino cheeses. Truly a must-try if you're passing through Amatrice!
