A special place, excellent and plentiful food, and courteous, friendly, and very welcoming staff. I absolutely recommend eating at this restaurant if you're in Amatrice. Just the appetizer will tell you you're in the right place.

The food is good, no doubt. But you have to choose the classic "any day," when there's no rush. The service is good, but initially a bit slow because it's limited by the day's special (amatriciana day). The atmosphere is informal, like a classic Sunday restaurant.

03/06/2026: We stopped by almost by chance and asked if we could have lunch, and they kindly seated us. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent.
