Trattoria Del Popolo

20/02/2026: Popolo is a restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Nothing fancy, very natural, very direct, very nice. They are probably experts in seafood, unfortunately I ordered grilled meatballs with grilled potatoes, don't ask for that, they prepared both as if it was the first attempt. Maybe no one else orders this, because the specialty is “pasta with cuttlefish ink”. But I will definitely come back if I am in Messina again.
12/02/2026: Excellent trattoria with typical Sicilian dishes. Freshly prepared, and even when the restaurant was full, you didn't have to wait long for your food. Definitely worth a visit. There were four of us, and we all enjoyed our meals. Highly recommended.
