Stunning spot for dinner. We stayed at the adjoining Agroturisme and came here twice as it's a short walk. The antipasti starter board is immense. Would feed double honestly. Meats, cheeses, pate, onion marmalade. Delicious. There was also a cute amuse-bouche provided free each evening. Between us we had gorgeous rough cut Ragu, steak with rocket and cheese, open raviolis and the kids had half portions of pasta with butter and pasta with tomato sauce. Wine list is really good with lots of options in terms of price and over the couple of nights we tried 3 different wines and all excellent. Speaking of the kids, they made friends with other customers kids and headed off behind the restaurant to dig about and play while we enjoyed peace and quiet. It's such a safe spot. To finish up we had lovely desserts of tiramisu (but in a different way than usual) and a pavlova/ panacotta type dish. The staff, particularly the waitress on our first visit were lovely and super helpful and chatty. It's a wonderful spot.

If a flaw can be found in the location, also considering the heat that accompanied the lunch, we must acknowledge an absolutely extensive menu with dishes that fully confirmed expectations: of great quality and level. The cellar is also excellent. An experience we had on holiday that we will do again and I recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in these parts. Reasonable value for money.

the La Dispensa restaurant in Pomarance was truly a beautiful experience. The restaurant is located in the middle of the Tuscan countryside between Pomarance and Volterra: a true oasis of peace. The staff was super kind and discreet: we were well welcomed and advised in the choice of the various dishes. All the dishes we tasted delighted us: the dishes have a note of novelty compared to traditional Tuscan cuisine and the flavors were really well balanced. The courses are almost abundant but always well presented and plated. Excellent price and al height of products and service.

We look for reviews before we order a table, and we weren't disappointed here either. The fact that the friendly service also spoke German rounded off the whole evening. Not only are the food, the staff and the surroundings great, the sunset is also a dream

Enchanting landscape, we find ourselves immersed in the Tuscan hills. Traditional menu revisited, of excellent quality, generous portions of pasta. Courteous and kind staff. A good place for a relaxing break

Un posto eccellente,personale preparato,cordiale la cucina merita 10 lode. Bravissimi.Posto accogliente,curato a minimi dettagli.La cucina tipica Toscana ma con tanta innovazione anche.Fanno una tempura di verdure favolosa. Sicuramente ritorneremo più che volentieri.

28/08/2024: Given the excellent reviews we decided to try this restaurant. Upon our arrival they tell us that the table is not ready yet so they offer us a bubble and some appetizers (small things but which are always nice). The table was located on the wooden veranda overlooking the street and, noting that they also have an outdoor garden, I ask if it would be possible to have a table there. At this point the staff tries in every way to please us and I must say that they were really very kind and friendly and after a while of waiting (in which they stopped by every now and then to see if we needed anything) they let us sit. The wait was worth it, the garden, although small, is a jewel with a central tree that acts as a roof and is all lit up. I personally had pappardelle with wild boar and pheasant as a second course, a dish not easy to find in restaurants, all excellent and plentiful. For dessert, how can we not recommend the dessert apocalypse. A truly pleasant experience and thanks to the truly kind and nice dining room staff.

01/09/2024: Upon arrival we were greeted by Maurizio, a very friendly, nice and approachable person. After letting us choose the table and having us sit down, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco (Defaveri to be precise) and an entre served with equal care and detail on the plate, a delicious mushroom sauce with bread chips. We started what will be a fantastic journey with wild boar salami and ham, fried quail eggs with a base of porcini mushrooms, truffle cheese and truffle and mushroom crostini. Afterwards we ordered a picio with white wild boar sauce with truffle flakes, FANTASTIC! The consistency of the boar was perfect, the flavor was more than spot on, the flavors were blended but very distinct, a MASTERPIECE! later we ordered a Florentine steak (cooked perfectly), fried porcini mushrooms and fried fantasy, all perfect, to finish we had a mascarpone semifreddo with truffle and truffle honey. A CONTINUOUS OF EXPLOSIONS IN THE MOUTH. The price compared to the quality is more than excellent, fantastic atmosphere and venue, excellent welcome, exquisite cuisine, complex but not exaggerated, modest but not excessive portions, all accompanied by a Scuttum mezzeni. Everything is absolutely excellent, congratulations to everyone, we will be back soon to eat much more. Good job everyone.
31/08/2024: Beautiful rooms, lovely location, competetent staff, delicous food. Perfect. And then Carla....what more can you ask for? We were at the restaurant several times over the ladt few years. This year we booked a room there. It was fantastic. We plan to go back next year. Sono molto gentili
