77 years of revelry, I have eaten in the best Italian, French and Spanish restaurants (almost always avoided the starred ones). Sure that I can include this restaurant in the best in terms of quality, service, courtesy etc. among all those I have tried in my past, I am writing this review not because of the enthusiasm of the first time, but after several times in which I have been in the countryside of Cuneo. I can only compliment, even on improvised and off-menu dishes, always perfect, with very fresh ingredients and worthy of seconds, impossible to do for the abundant quantities served. Price adequate (low) for the service and quality eaten. Too bad that my age will not allow me to frequent this restaurant for much longer, it deserves it

Abbiamo avuto l'onore di conoscere questo ottimo ristorante siciliano , accoglienza ottima i titolari cordiali, gentili, atmosfera rilassante,servizio ottimo con il titolare Giovanni che ti accoglie in modo semplice , persona simpatica e molto piacente, che dire del cibo ottimo preparato con cura dalla moglie complimenti,il pesce freschissimo tutti gli ingredienti amalgamati con cura ,gusti delicati ,profumati, che dire scapho,i dolci ottimi dalla cassata, al cannolo siciliano un esplosione di gusto e sapori, arte e poesia per il palato ci torneremo con immenso piacere.. grazie mille

Fish lovers? This will become your location. Nice and very professional owners in an elegant context where fish is the Subject. All very light and with Sicilian scents. The photos speak for themselves. Compliments.

Lunch with friends, excellent welcome, we immediately felt at home. Elegant venue, truly 6-star Sicilian menu with high quality and fresh products. All well explained by Giovanni! P.S.: we had a true Sicilian at the table with us who was equally satisfied. Keep it up!!

Discovered this Sicilian place through word of mouth, excellent fish cuisine, friendly and efficient staff, very friendly owner. The right price for everything we ate. Must try!!

Siamo venuti più volte in questo ristorante: abbiamo sempre apprezzato tutto, dall’ottimo cibo alla professionalità! Antipasti di mare freschi e davvero buoni, caponata squisita!! Servizio buono, personale cordiale e locale accogliente! Molto preparati anche per le persone intolleranti al glutine: menù modificato apposta sia pasta senza glutine che fritto senza glutine! (Vedi foto) Se si vuole mangiare pesce fresco dalle nostre parti bisogna assolutamente venire qui!

05/07/2025: A simple yet refined restaurant in the countryside, surrounded by hazelnut trees. A warm welcome. Excellent food with a touch of originality. The asparagus buttons were exquisite, and the meat, as well as the dessert, were succulent. A place to remember. The bollito, for next time... Thanks also to the son/server.

Locanda Cortiletto d'Alba

29/06/2025: We went here for dinner on a trip to Alba. The environment is very cozy, a nicely decorated courtyard, which even though it is just a stone's throw from the center, is neither noisy nor messy. The inn is run by a family, which is noticeable in the welcoming environment and the relaxed atmosphere. We received fantastic service and the staff always answered our questions and explained, among other things, the difference between different wines we tried. In addition to the regular menu, there was also a pasta with freshly caught seafood and a menu with dishes of the day, which we ordered from. Before the food arrived, we were surprised with a very good starter. I ordered a spiralotti with gorgonzola sauce and walnuts, which was absolutely heavenly. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and they also offered grated parmesan on top, which we accepted. The size of the portions is perfectly just right in my opinion, enough to fill you up but not nauseating. Afterwards, we each drank an espresso, as we were too full for any dessert. When we went in to pay, we talked to the woman at the cashier for a long time and also got to taste a delicious liqueur from the area. In conclusion, I can highly recommend coming here to eat, and I can't wait for the next time I'm here!
29/06/2025: Great little restaurant here. Very welcoming and helpful service. The only place I’ve seen in the area that offers risotto for 1 person. The food was delicious - especially the risotto!
