Apparently, when you're Muslim, they're watching you, afraid you won't pay or whatever. Well, it doesn't matter, when it's against Islam, everyone has the right to do what they want, but in another community, it would be different. Avoid it.

The restaurant's interior is very characteristic. We ate excellent traditional dishes and the service was very fast. Good value for money.

The gnocchi is out of this world. The service is grand. Order any wine from the Valle D’Aosta. Goes down a treat.

A good restaurant near the center of Courmayeur. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ate typical Aosta Valley dishes (Savoyard fondue, frecacha, tartiflette, and fondue gnocchi), and I must say they were all delicious. Prices are average for the area. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try traditional cuisine.

Very good service but I can only comment on the pizzas. Not the best, but certainly not the worst by a long shot. Would very happily eat here again. They are also very accommodating of dogs.

The pizza was good, a bit pricey, but it was right in the middle of a touristy spot. Friendly service and quick preparation times. If I were in the mood for pizza, I'd probably go again.

Agriturismo Alpe Corneuil

29/08/2025: A warm and attentive welcome, a splendid location with a view of the Ayace Valley, and food focused on Aosta Valley specialties, all delicious. We returned to complete our samplings. Aosta Valley soup, crespelle, porcini mushroom soup, onion soup...and then the desserts, with whipped cream made with their own milk. Highly recommended!
25/08/2025: The dishes are plentiful and very good. The staff is very friendly... it's worth trying.

Hotel Ristorante Tivet

03/08/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Ristorante Tivet for a week and were very satisfied. The location is perfect, just minutes from Aosta and convenient for reaching Pila and hiking. The family-run hotel is very clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food: generous portions, excellent food, and excellent value. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, Hotel Tivet is the place!
03/08/2025: Hotel Tivet, located halfway between Aosta and Pila, is ideal for those seeking a secluded retreat (we needed one for our one-month-old daughter) and easy access to nearby towns by car. Its location also offers spectacular views of the mountains opposite. The hotel is surrounded by a garden with chairs, tables, and loungers where you can sunbathe and relax. There's also a jacuzzi/sauna, but we didn't use it. The staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Inside, the hotel is very well-maintained and tidy, both in the rooms and in the common areas. We stayed half-board and were amazed and satisfied with the quality and quantity of what was offered for breakfast and dinner. We hope to return soon!
