I had two meals at La Clochette on my recent trip to Courmayeur: lunch with a small group and dinner with a large group. Both were fantastic! Great service and delicious food / wine / beer.

The food is excellent, beyond question (I've never tried the pizza). I consider the price more than reasonable for the ambiance, quality, and location. We've been several times, including New Year's Eve, and despite a few minor hiccups with the restaurant being full, everything was fine, and we even got a complimentary bottle of Bellavista. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it. A well-deserved 5 stars.

Given the location and the menu (with prices to match), I had high expectations... unfortunately, they were disappointed. The fondue niçoise, what can I say? Portion for two. The cheese was very runny, lots of potatoes, and the typical cured meats? Four slices of salami milano, four of cooked ham, and four of speck-like. I didn't know cooked ham was typical of the Aosta Valley. The service? Good but inexperienced. The location was beautiful. The price? Excessive for what was on offer. Disappointing.

Les Sap In Rouge

05/09/2025: Finally, after a few years, in memory of memorable barbecues, we returned to Tamara and Pasquale. A magnificent confirmation. The best grilled fish, meat, and vegetables in the Aosta Valley are here. All accompanied by undisputed friendliness. Well done. Keep up the good work!
22/08/2025: Today we had a problem with the Q8 fuel supply. They came to the shop for information, helped me, and resolved the issue. Thank you for your kindness and helpfulness. I think we'll try the food too, since we have a house in Valtournenche. See you soon, and thanks again.

29/09/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at the Valnontey restaurant in Cogne, and we can say without hesitation that it was an excellent experience. 🍽️ The menu features traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley, carefully prepared. In addition to a delicious appetizer of tomini, cured meats, and local cheeses, we sampled the creamy and enveloping fondue, the rustic and flavorful soça, and the famous Cogne crema con le tegole, a traditional dessert that ended the dinner on a perfect note. 🍷 The selection of Aosta Valley wines is extensive and well-cured. The Gamay we chose was a pleasant discovery: it paired perfectly with the dishes. 🎯 Attentive, courteous, and professional service made the experience even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. Our only small flaw: the room was a little cold.
26/09/2025: Typical Alpine restaurant. The decor isn't particularly well-kept. The food quality is modest. Friendly staff.
