A truly enchanting restaurant in every detail, chosen for our New Year's Day 2026 lunch, which turned out to be a simply perfect experience. The atmosphere is meticulously curated, and you can immediately sense their passion for hospitality. The staff was impeccable: professional, smiling, and always available, making you feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. The food is extraordinary: each dish is an explosion of unique and well-balanced flavors, with evident attention to even the smallest details. Off-menu, we tried the cheek, incredibly tender and rich in flavor, a true delight. The Florentine steak, cooked to perfection, was soft and flavorful. The dessert was also excellent: a delicious apple pie with vanilla ice cream, the perfect end to the meal. It was all accompanied by a bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva Renzo Marinai, recommended by the owner, which proved to be an excellent pairing. The prices were absolutely fair for the quality offered. A New Year's Eve lunch that exceeded all expectations and one we will definitely repeat.

Very small place, with a small patio across the street. It has a view of the hills. The service was special... A bit "chaotic," it seemed a little disorganized... The service took a bit long. Very informal. We had a cheese fondue tart (which we were told was pecorino cheese tart), which was good. We loved the tomino cheese. The ravioli with a truly special ragù were excellent, highly recommended! The truffle egg was special, fragrant and plentiful. The desserts were average, but the chocolate cake was good!

Excellent restaurant! The appetizers and first courses were particularly creative. The steak was cooked to perfection. The homemade desserts. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I recommend La Castellana 100%.

The waiters and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is very intimate and the food is incredible. The Florentine steak was perfect and the desserts were delicious. I highly recommend the apple pie with ice cream.
