A Truly Special Dinner in the Heart of Chianti
We had such an amazing experience at this restaurant—easily the best dinner we've had in Italy so far. The setting is beautiful, with a cozy, rustic vibe and a terrace that looks out over the Chianti hills.
Even though we showed up about 30 minutes before closing and the place was clearly busy with reservations, the owner still found a way to seat us. You could tell how much he cares about his restaurant and the food he serves—he didn’t rush us at all, and he made us feel genuinely welcome. That kind of hospitality really stuck with us.
The food was just incredible. We started with a board of delicate cured meats and cheeses that paired perfectly with a glass of local red wine. The lardo was especially memorable—thin, buttery, and topped with rosemary and spices. And the pasta? Absolutely delicious. Rich, hearty sauce with super tender meat on top—it was comfort food at its finest, but with a lot of care and flavor behind it.
This place really has something special. Great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and an owner who truly pours his heart into what he does. If you're in the area, don’t miss it.

For truffle lovers this place is paradise: I ate the best truffle tagliatelle (all the pasta is homemade) accompanied by an excellent bottle of wine recommended by helpful and very friendly staff! We had a very pleasant evening, thank you!

Superlative restaurant in the tiny village of Montefioralle, 5 minutes from Greve in Chianti. Very intimate restaurant with few seats inside, perfect for a romantic evening. The quality of the food is excellent and the portions are fair/generous. My partner and I had a Chianina tartare with raw vegetables (stunning), a pappardella with wild boar ragù (super spacey and very rich in ragù) then 2 second courses: a peposo, a typical Tuscan dish based on beef stew with tomato sauce (phenomenal) and a sliced steak with lard and truffle. Then two desserts, very full!
The wine list is super extensive and there are all types: there is even an entire menu page on the Chianti Classico, one on the Grand Selection and one on the Chianti Riserva, very honest prices on the wine too.
Super friendly and genuine service.
We spent €75/person: in total we took 1 starter to share, 1 first course to share, 2 second courses of which one cut which alone was worth €30, two desserts, two bottles of water and a classic chianti for €34). Judge for yourself but I would say in line with the quality of the food served (maybe we could have given us a bit of a discount but I would go back anyway).

Ottima accoglienza e ottimi piatti: eravamo in 8, abbiamo spaziato dal peposo ai tortelloni all'arancia con ragù bianco, e altre pietanze. Tutto devo dire molto buono, personale gentile e disponibile. Consigliato.

Muy buena sorpresa a la llegada a este restaurante, la terraza al lado de un camino tranquilo todavía tiene una magnífica vista de un paisaje toscano. el servicio es muy profesional pero es sobre todo los platos que son realmente excelentes, obviamente hay que amar la trufa porque están en casi todas partes, excelente pasta y carne
