We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while exiting the highway on our way to Milan. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was excellent, as were the Fiorentina steak, the umbricelli with goose ragù, and the umbricelli cacio e pepe. Highly recommended for the quality and price.

I was with my family, we ate some fabulous first courses, especially the umbrichelli, the local pasta with the truly exceptional goose ragù, not to mention the second courses, both cooked dishes such as guinea fowl and wild boar, but also the sliced ​​steak and the arrosticini, good price and excellent quality.

La Castagneta on the gentle Ficulle hill (TR), 7 minutes from the Fabro (TR) highway exit...welcoming and familiar. Simple. Excellent first courses if you love aglione and cacio e pepe. The staff is exquisite. Friendly and reasonably priced. Worth a visit. Well done.

The restaurant was full, we ate quickly and well, the steak, sausage and arrosticini were like the ones we used to eat, an extraordinary zuppa inglese and paid very little, it was pointed out to us at the Fabro toll booth and I would say that we chose very well, highly recommended

21/04/2026: I don't know what some people expect, but this restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the food is varied and good. The owners are Asian and efficient and polite. I've eaten there several times and have always been very satisfied and have never had any problems. And the quality/price ratio is unmatched: for €24.90 I get about twenty dishes and sake! In another restaurant I would have spent more than €100!
