Happened upon this restaurant while driving along the countryside. I’m glad we stopped because the food was delicious and it had a great authentic feel to it. Highly recommend Ristorante La Casetta

Nonostante avessimo letto alcune recensioni non del tutto positive, la comodità di poter mangiare all'aperto è al fresco a pochi minuti dal centro di Spoleto ci hanno spinto a fermarci. È stata una gradevole sorpresa e abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Ci è stato detto che in cucina c'è un nuovo cuoco e il suo tocco si è visto pur nella semplicità di piatti tradizionali spoletini come gli strangozzi e l'uovo strapazzato Al tartufo. Costi contenuti. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Home cooking, traditional recipes and good raw materials, we ate well. Despite the road being very close, the outdoor environment, full of greenery, is pleasant. The interior is interesting and original, decorated with many paintings painted by the owner himself. Fast and welcoming service. Adequate prices. Overall we were satisfied.

Posizione strategica sulla via Flaminia, offre un ampio parcheggio. Servizio veloce e gentile. Piatti discreti ma nulla più. Vino della casa non giudicabile. C'è di meglio.

12/08/2025: Located in Spoleto's market square, this is definitely an excellent bistro where you can enjoy good food.
24/06/2025: I began the evening in Piazza del Mercato at the Cava Osteria Bistrot with a hearty red wine from Montefalco, which is the next town over about 5 miles from Spoleto. It has about 524 inhabitants, but they know how to make a good red wine. I then enjoyed an amazing salad of octopus, potato, tomato, and olives from Liguria, and the waiter and I had a jolly conversation about the best region for olives. I then opted for one of the evening recommendations, the Strangozzi with Tartufi/truffles and pistachio. All in all, the food was wonderful and the service was personal and kind. Thank you!

Ristorante La Reggia

18/08/2025: I'd like to say that the place deserves a clean hotel, good rooms, a well-maintained pool, and above all, a wonderful view. But unfortunately, the part I have to criticize are some flaws that shouldn't happen in a respectable hotel. First of all, the empty minibar. Then, on the website, it says aperitifs at the pool bar, but it was as if the bar didn't exist. I noticed that a girl was the bartender upstairs, the bartender downstairs, and she was also at the reception. I don't know, maybe in the middle of August, they should have a little more staff. Anyway, you can't praise service and then not do it. At least the restaurant works well. We ate well, and we were looked after even better.
