Been coming here for over 20 years. Always good. Service friendly but professional. Staff well dressed (no tattoos visible). Excellent fritto misto, fish cakes and black angus tagliata for non fish eaters .

I've been going to Caravella for many years and we've always had a great time, for those who love fish you'll be spoiled for choice given the quality of the dishes. I don't eat fish and I always find excellent alternatives. Stunning location, always friendly staff

Excellente cuisine. Plutôt cher mais la qualité est là. Assiette de crus exceptionnelle (poissons et fruits de mer) à 40 € mais convient tout à fait pour 2.

23/06/2025: Full marks!!!! The fish is extremely juicy and not overly seasoned. The aromas of the fish are excellent. The price-quality ratio is really great. A whole fish costs 18 or 24 euros. The vegetables are also extremely juicy. The interior is simple, functional and cozy. You have to book a place here in advance the day before to be sure you get in. I went there a couple of times and couldn't fit in anymore. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come here again. Even a standard Warsteiner tasted heavenly here.

16/07/2025: Very nice restaurant with average prices. The primi are generous. House wine is reasonably priced. A few steps from Miramare Castle. Exceptional view of Trieste.
10/07/2025: One of the best seafood restaurants in the world! We dined here three times this week. We thus tried many items from the menu. Every single item was perfect! The salt crusted trout was one of a kind, no one can match the way it is served here. The fish melted in the mouth. So delicious! All the people working here, including chefs and waiters, are polite, smiling, happy and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all of you!
