Excellent restaurant, we've been coming here for years... we always eat with their traditional menu, which is a tasting of appetizers of the day (personally I mop up every appetizer, because they're all truly delicious), followed by a first course and a grilled meat... all accompanied by an excellent house wine... and to finish, a wide variety of desserts, each one better than the last!! Very nice, cordial and friendly owner as is all his staff!! 5 stars are not enough!! TOP OVER THE TOP! 🔝✨

In Solesino, on the outskirts of Padua, the Cappa d'Oro restaurant and trattoria delights its guests with fresh seafood dishes, all in a well-maintained, slightly retro-style setting. The cuttlefish and scallop risotto is amazing!!! The boiled meats and grilled fish are also delicious. Adequate prices.

Tucked away in a nondescript building along State Road 16, this restaurant offers seafood lunches and dinners. Excellent fish cooked according to tradition, with the option of a fixed-price lunch. Suitable for all occasions. For couples, with friends, or for business lunches or dinners.

28/02/2026: Excellent experience, the staff were young but attentive and knowledgeable. The fish was of unquestionable quality. The raw and marinated fish were truly out of this world. The ravioli of the day seemed a bit sparse, but they turned out perfect. We didn't get a second course, but the grilled fish was very inviting. The paccheri with pistachios and monkfish were truly superb and delicious. The only tiny flaw: I received my first course much later than the other guests at the table; it would have been better if they had all come out at the same time. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant evening.
23/02/2026: Excellent quality ingredients, a varied wine list, a very refined atmosphere, and impeccable, professional, and very friendly service. Recommended.

08/03/2026: A beautiful location with a panoramic terrace and truly delicious food, prepared and served with a touch of elegance. Although it's typically local cuisine, it's enriched with exquisite details that make lunch a true delight for the eyes and the palate. The young staff is very polite and professional, which doesn't hurt and actually makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth considering after a walk from Villa Draghi, or reachable by car for convenience. Prices are average for restaurants in the hills. The appetizers are generous, so you can fill up even on a small portion, and the table wine is pleasant. There's an outdoor play area.
01/03/2026: Too bad, I have to say the ingredients aren't bad at all, the dishes were good and well-presented, but the problem is the service: rude and inappropriate. I must also say that the location is stuck in the '70s, especially at the end of February, still decorated for Christmas. The place has no phone service or WiFi, you're practically cut off from everything, even paying by POS is difficult and slow. In the end, to pay by debit card, I had to wait for the staff to take the device outside to search for connections, like in a comedy movie. To conclude, I repeat, my disappointment: the ingredients aren't bad at all, but they're not enough...there's a lack of passion and love for service and detail here.
