In Solesino, on the outskirts of Padua, the Cappa d'Oro restaurant and trattoria delights its guests with fresh seafood dishes, all in a well-maintained, slightly retro-style setting. The cuttlefish and scallop risotto is amazing!!! The boiled meats and grilled fish are also delicious. Adequate prices.

Tucked away in a nondescript building along State Road 16, this restaurant offers seafood lunches and dinners. Excellent fish cooked according to tradition, with the option of a fixed-price lunch. Suitable for all occasions. For couples, with friends, or for business lunches or dinners.

For many years this place has been an important point of reference for my family. Sea fish, of course. With an extraordinary series of appetizers, served with professionalism and courtesy, without waiting: "a battitore". And then the first courses, fabulous. Super grill, for those who still make it. Then the desserts: too beautiful, too good. I attach only the photo of the sublime risotto. Try it, to believe it!

03/11/2025: The Librosteria offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The selection of books is varied and well-thought out, and every piece of furniture has a purpose, like the small sitting area on the right in the entrance. It's a place to visit for intellectual stimulation, as well as for the pleasure of listening to the owner discuss titles and authors she knows how to make you want to know in just a few minutes. A bonus for such a special place is the opportunity to sample a well-stocked vegetarian and vegan menu.
18/10/2025: An alternative-friendly atmosphere, packed with books, where Padua's young university students (and others) enjoy drinks and socializing. The themed aperitifs are renowned. The silver-haired owner, bartender, and manager are unparalleled.

Al Bosco

17/08/2025: We went to Trattoria "Al Bosco" for Ferragosto (August 15th). The restaurant enjoys the lush greenery of the Paduan hills! The restaurant offers a warm welcome in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The menu isn't extensive, but the ingredients are genuine and the portions are adequate, offering a good value. The pool, in my opinion, could be improved: there's no staff, and the lounge chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment are mostly broken (and therefore unusable) and insufficient for the number of guests. We did, however, have the option of lounging on the lawn. All in all, a positive experience.
12/08/2025: Very nice and refined place, but the menu is very limited and there isn't much choice. However, if you want to bring your girlfriend or loved one, it's a wonderful place to make a good impression. 💓
