Delicious croissants 🥐and coffe ☕️, and a very friendly owner. He let us park our camper off-season free of charge, even though I offered to pay. Panoramic view of Mount Etna and Catania from the parking area.

08/07/2025: Shalai Resort is an elegant boutique hotel in Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Mount Etna, in the province of Catania. This 4-star hotel is located in a beautifully restored 19th-century historic building. The rooms feature a modern yet warm style, some with whirlpool tubs. The Shalai Restaurant, with its contemporary Sicilian cuisine and 1 Michelin star, offers excellent dishes and a spacious and well-stocked wine cellar. There is a spa with a Turkish bath, whirlpool, sauna, and wellness treatments; although small, it is very welcoming. Perfect for relaxing, food, and nature experiences. I highly recommend it ❗️
