A historic place worth trying again and again. Exceptional meats, as well as appetizers, first courses, and side dishes. I first came here 40 years ago, and have since returned several times, always satisfied!

A good compromise for a quick lunch break.
The meat was decent (but it wasn't a tagliata as stated on the menu, but rather roast beef).
The waiter was a tad too "intimate."
The atmosphere was clean but quite cramped.

We were recommended this place, and after visiting it, I also recommend it to anyone reading this review.
Keep in mind that people in this area tend to eat early, and we arrived almost at closing time. Even so, we were greeted with a smile and received wonderful service: very kind and attentive at all times.
The place is cozy, authentic, and it's clear it's not geared towards tourists, but rather for enjoying a truly Italian experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious, with a homemade flavor and excellent quality. Every bite was a real treat.
The waiter was charming, always attentive without being intrusive.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to return, but I hope others can enjoy this special spot.

You can see right away that it is not a modern restaurant, but you can experience its history while enjoying good food at fair prices, I will return.

A pleasant experience, I'd return. As for the appetizers, I found the small plates a bit sparse, and it was odd that you had to get up to choose from the various options at the counter. It's certainly quaint, but the place is quite cramped, so I found it a bit out of place. The first courses were good, but I would have preferred larger portions. The meat was very good and flavorful, and the potatoes were a side.
We ate very well, with attentive yet discreet service. The young woman serving us was very courteous and friendly, and gave us excellent advice on the dishes. I recommend the cutlet!

We ordered:
1 portion of meatballs, which arrived cold and full of connective tissue
1 portion of croatini with ragu, which arrived with soggy bread and the ragu only smeared the bread
The meat-based main courses were good
Service rushed to the table without any contact with the customer.
It's clear they've established their clientele and aren't interested in acquiring new ones.
