A place characterized by a vaulted ceiling, kind and professional service managed directly by the owner, an extensive wine list, traditional cuisine such as good pasta and beans "which I don't remember what it's called :-)" and braised meat which however is too spicy for my tastes.

Posto assolutamente piacevole, ambiente informale ma decisamente curato, con belle sale e tavoli con adeguata privacy. Cucina tradizionale con materie prime pressoché impeccabili, e piatti ben serviti. Gestione famigliare educata e lieta

Very nice place, set in a historical setting and in a very beautiful pre-hilly environment and not far from Pavia. The initial room welcomes with a fireplace open to the kitchens and a grill in the foreground which creates a beautiful sight. The service is very good, managed and coordinated by the owners, who look after the customer with experience and kindness, demonstrating all their professionalism. The menu offering is traditional, qualitative and well curated depending on the season. Excellent cold cuts and meats, good fresh porcini mushroom risotto, very wide choice of wines, which is a must in this area. It's a shame that the noise from the customers was a bit loud in such a balanced context.

05/02/2025: Very pleasant surprise in the heart of Pavia. Weekday lunch that turned into an experience. Exceptional natural wines, quality food and truly noteworthy accompaniment from the owner. Absolutely coming back!
28/01/2025: In my opinion one of the best places to savor excellent dishes of various kinds and a good wine... The staff are very welcoming and available for every request they can... What can I say, a fantastic discovery... I recommend booking for lunch...

17/02/2025: Excellent little restaurant in the heart of Pavia, perfect for a tasty lunch break or a nice dinner. Very beautiful environment, the feeling is that of being in a place suspended between the "traditional" and the modern. Modern because the sandwiches and other dishes offer unexpected but very good combinations. I recommend the “Giulia” sandwich. I noticed truly top quality ingredients, carefully chosen and prepared practically before my eyes. Very kind and professional staff. The desserts are also delicious, I recommend the "birramisu". Really a great discovery, I recommend it!
