The service from the waiter who served us was exceptional. He was very attentive and attentive at all times. He sought information so he could explain the type of fish (Ricciola tartare) and meat we had ordered. The Pisa wine, a white and multivarietal, was a great choice. The atmosphere was calm and spacious. Ideal for conversation during the meal.

I had read amazing reviews about this place and decided to give it a try for lunch on a weekday, while in the area to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This restaurant is about ¾ mile from the Leaning Tower, so it’s an easy walk. We got there right around noon, as their opening time states 12:15 online. There was sign in the window saying they were opening at 12:20 this particular day… interesting that they have such specific times. Soon before they opened another couple also came up. It’s in a very non-descript area, no place you’d expect to find a really nice restaurant. As soon as they opened, they were very friendly, greeted us and got us seated. Within about 15 minutes, they seated probably another 10 tables – So clearly they’re quite popular! Our server was absolutely amazing! He spoke great English and did an excellent job describing various items on the menu to us, how they were prepared, etc. Everything we got was OUTSTANDING! Great flavors, very fresh, and simply amazing! It might sounds odd, but get a side of their French fries. They say in the menu they’re not frozen and I can see why they mention this, they come out looking perfect, like a McDonald’s French fry, but they’re sooo much better! We started with their mushroom soup. I’m not a fan of mushrooms, but I really liked this soup. If you like mushrooms, it’s a must have! Such freshness of the broth and the mushrooms in it were so meaty and flavorful! The homemade croutons that came with it were incredibly delicious! We also got a side of spinach which was great. For our entrées we shared their Lobster Ravioli with Shrimp and Calamari and their Paccheri with Seafood Ragù and both were so tasty and fresh, with hardly any harsh “seafoody” flavor to them. Save room for dessert, their Pistachio cream filled cake was out of this world! Highly recommend stopping in to give them a try! The place is beautiful on the inside, flavors are great, and service was excellent!

Above-average staff...excellent cuisine without unnecessary waiting...not to be confused with other restaurants of the same name in the area.

The food was tasty and the service excellent. The atmosphere for us however was a little bit uptight and we missed some more relaxing and cosy restaurant. I assume we are not their primary target customer as we were by far the youngest in the restaurant. We probably also didn‘t chose the right dishes (like the raw fish appetizers) which seem to be their specialty, however the dishes served were very tasty. The portions are adequate. Also as a side note: I don‘t agree with some of the comments that the portions are too small.

Siamo stati a cena una sera in questo ristorante elegante e con servizio professionale e abbiamo mangiato molto bene a base di pesce fresco e ben cucinato. Ottimi sia l'antipasto di mare, che la grigliata mista di pesce. Squisito il sorbetto artigianale al mirtillo. Prezzi nella media. Conviene prenotare anche durante la settimana. Consigliatissimo.
