Ristorante L'800 In Argelato

A great dining experience at Ristorante L’800. I started with the Sformatino di peperoni rossi with robiola zabaglione and crispy guanciale, followed by the classic Tagliatelle al Ragù alla Bolognese, and finished with the Tagliata di manzo with balsamic vinegar, escarole, and aged pecorino. Every dish was delicious, but the tagliatelle was definitely the highlight—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended!

Good but the daily menu is a bit too expensive compared to the (minimal) portions they give you.

I liked it; the place is refined but not pretentious, intimate and pleasant. The quality/price ratio is also good. Their specialty is snails and fried frogs, but they have a good selection of other dishes. Recommended.

We stumbled upon it almost by chance during a business trip to Bologna, looking for a restaurant with a guarantee. We found it in the Michelin Guide, and our expectations were fully confirmed. The atmosphere is elegant but never cold, the service professional and very welcoming. The dishes are carefully prepared, with quality ingredients and well-balanced flavors, showcasing tradition with a modern twist. The wine list is also excellent. A truly pleasant discovery, the kind that makes you want to return even without a business trip.

We've been customers of L'800 for years, and since we've always had such a great time, we decided to celebrate our baby's baptism there as well. It was the best choice we could have made! Deborah, the owner, was incredibly kind, available to accommodate our every need, and extremely efficient in organizing the day. She supported us with every detail, taking care of the decor of the room, the tables, and even the cake with taste and care, even helping us with that. The menu, as always, was excellent: the guests raved about both the dishes and the wines, everything was truly delicious. The service was fast and impeccable—a significant detail considering there were 50 of us and no one likes to sit at a table for hours—and the girls in the dining room were all very helpful and kind. In a word: perfection. Thank you so much for making such an important day for us truly flawless.

We had Easter lunch. Everything went well: good food, carefully prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The Easter fixed-price menu was €55 per person. The staff was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!
