Hotel Villa Stanley

26/10/2024: Pleasant hotel, which was once a Villa, surrounded by a very green park and with well-kept corners where you can walk. Well managed and with honest prices. Too bad it's always full of mosquitoes and there are no mosquito nets on the windows. Then the rooms, being ancient, are not soundproofed. Good breakfast served in the lemon house.

09/03/2025: We spent the day in Lucca and Siena and went straight to a more “casual” dinner at the restaurant. But still wearing Zegna sneakers and my wife wearing Cartier. However, we were treated very poorly at the place. The staff looked us up and down and showed us the menu before we sat down to see if we could afford to pay. Hahahahaha, that’s surreal. Italy really is the Brazil of Europe. Weird!
09/03/2025: A bit of a garden, a bit of a bookshop, a bit of a glassware shop, a bit of a pastry bar and café, a bit of ....... in short, a lot to see and enjoy, with a friendly and welcoming staff! Worth a stop, at any time!
