6 of us had dinner (4 adults and two children), booking in advance because the first time we couldn't find a free table 😆. The restaurant is located in a private alley next to the port, where it is easy to find parking within walking distance. The friendly Vincenzo, son of the owner and chef Nino, welcomed us and followed us in the choice of dishes. Delicious and fresh raw seafood, the first courses super seasoned and delicious (pasta with sea urchins, top!), the mix of starters fresh and tasty. The wine list also varies. We will be back!! Meraviglioso locale rustico, anni ‘80, dove non si bada alla forma ma tanto alla sostanza.
La maggior parte dei locali in zona, anche molto più costosi, hanno tutto pesce congelato. Al Ristorante Itali tutto il pesce è SUPER FRESCO. A dimostrazione del vero pesce fresco e non surgelato, la seconda sera che siamo tornati, essendo arrivati noi in ritardo per un tour guidato (e ci hanno atteso con lo stesso sorriso di sempre), il crudo e altri piatti erano terminati.
Consigliamo VIVAMENTE l’antipasto Carrellata Italia, un tripudio di bontà siciliane che ho continuato a sognare per tutto il giorno successivo.
Ottimo anche il Crudo di pesce, quasi dolce, MERAVIGLIOSO.
Posto ideale per chi cerca vero pesce fresco e i veri sapori siciliani. Sconsigliato per chi pensa di essere a Forte dei Marmi e vuole le poltroncine imbottite e il cibo di plastica.
Ultima cosa, un caro ringraziamento al ragazzo (credo Vincenzo, o Enzo), figlio dei proprietari. Gentilissimo.

Wonderful rustic place, from the 80s, where you don't pay attention to the form but rather to the substance.
Most places in the area, even much more expensive ones, have all frozen fish. At the Itali Restaurant all the fish is SUPER FRESH. As a demonstration of truly fresh and not frozen fish, the second evening we returned, having arrived late for a guided tour (and they waited for us with the same smile as always), the raw fish and other dishes were finished.
We HIGHLY recommend the Carrellata Italia appetizer, a riot of Sicilian goodness that I continued to dream about throughout the next day.
The raw fish is also excellent, almost sweet, WONDERFUL.
Ideal place for those looking for real fresh fish and true Sicilian flavours. Not recommended for those who think they are in Forte dei Marmi and want padded seats and plastic food.
Last thing, a big thank you to the boy (I think Vincenzo, or Enzo), son of the owners. Very kind.

We found a new pearl, at first sight you wouldn't give it a penny but the food they serve is amazing, the waiters are friendly and the prices are very honest, the only flaw is the tarpaulin which hides the sea view a bit, but... ... Who cares as long as the food is this good.... We will be back
