A charming and quaint place. Excellent seafood. The spaghetti with clams was excellent. Nothing to complain about. The place is small and very welcoming. Today, August 24, 2025, 11 of us dined. We were very satisfied. The owner's son, Vincenzo, and a young woman served us very well. Vincenzo is friendly and very funny. He tells lots of funny jokes and makes his customers feel at ease.

The food is delicious, but unfortunately the gentleman with glasses (and wearing tracksuits) leaves a bad impression on this place. The two waiters, including the lady, are elegantly dressed and professional.

We came one evening when the team seemed completely overwhelmed: order taken very late, cutlery forgotten... The meal finally arrived and the pasta was good, but what a shame to use frozen products when the sea 🌊🦐 is just a stone's throw away. The tiramisus were still frozen and it was even difficult to get the bill. A disappointing experience, despite a setting that could offer much better.

We had dinner here, enjoying excellent sweet and sour fresh tuna accompanied by delicious caponata. Reasonable prices. The service staff were young and friendly. Reservations are recommended. Highly recommended!

Amazing place! We enjoyed wonderful dishes with incredibly fresh fish. Generous portions, friendly and helpful staff. We felt right at home. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Siamo stati per cena dopo aver prenotato in quanto il locale è piccolino ma accogliente, forse un po' troppo moderno per ricordarmi la trattoria siciliana. Abbiamo ovviamente mangiato pesce, con un menù che non ha moltissimi piatti, ma che come ribadito dal cuoco cerca di mantenere la tradizione dei piatti siciliani, così come si faceva in casa tanto tempo fa. E noi cercavamo proprio questo, la tradizione. A fine serata ci siamo alzati dal tavolo soddisfatti. Il prezzo è a mio avviso leggermente eccessivo, calcolando che il ristorante si affaccia sul mare, ma purtroppo e con dispiacere questo sovraprezzo l'ho trovato in moltissimi ristoranti della Sicilia. In ogni caso ne vale la pena tornare.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante più volte ed è sempre sta una esperienza ottima. Devo anche sottolineare che migliorano ogni volta anche l’aspetto del ristorante. Bravi! Spaghetti con i ricci freschi sublimi, polipetti fritti da oscar. Come dolce ho provato i ravioli con ricotta e pere, buonissimi. Il tutto condito dalla cortesia dei camerieri e dei titolari. Prezzo buono considerata la qualità del cibo. Veramente bravi !

29/06/2025: Hotel Ferdinando a Sant’Angelo is a little jewel of a hotel. Well cared for by its owner that also run it. It has beautiful thermal pools and a stunning restaurant on a terrace with a view over the sea. My room was very comfortable in size, clean and with a little patio overlooking the sea. Breakfast in the morning is served outside and everything is homemade. Thanks so much for the hospitality and I will be back for sure.

01/12/2023: Location of this restaurant is in a cave. The atmosphere is there from the start. Some main courses are prepared with a kind of show cooking at the table. The food is delicious.. The dishes are of a slightly higher level.. The carpaccio was the best I have ever eaten with the minimum of ingredients. The grilled calemare was also tasty..the dessert, the canoli recommended by the waiter, was delicious.. However, big eaters will not get their money's worth here.. There is a very extensive wine list and you should definitely try the wines of the region. The prices are not too bad.. Friendly staff.. Highly recommended..
23/10/2023: Beautiful stylish restaurant in a cave. There weren't many guests there, the friendly, nice employee was very attentive. The starters of roasted peppers and peas bacon ravioli with squid were very good, the rombo was also tasty. Unfortunately the flambéed beef fillet was raw and was ordered medium. After complaining to the boss, who had also flambéed the fillet, the only comment that came was whether the fillet should be better fried. It's a shame that the boss only knows how to eat raw or fried. You expect more in a Michelin recommended restaurant.
