After arriving in Ischia by ferry, my first priority was trying a glass of the island’s local Biancolella wine, and this restaurant turned out to be the perfect place to do it. The waterfront setting was beautiful, with a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the harbor.
The Biancolella was crisp, refreshing, and exactly what I had hoped for while visiting Ischia. For lunch, I ordered the Polpo alla Luciana con crostini, a traditional octopus dish slowly simmered in a rich tomato sauce with capers and served with toasted bread. The octopus was perfectly tender, and the sauce was so flavorful that I found myself using the crostini to enjoy every last bite.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the combination of local wine, authentic cuisine, and beautiful harbor views made for a memorable afternoon. Between the local Biancolella, the harbor views, and an unhurried lunch, it felt like the perfect dolce far niente moment.

I went to Pane e Vino today at the port of Ischia and had a great time. Excellent location on the port, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly, helpful staff. I particularly appreciated the quality of the food and the freshness of the ingredients. Attentive service and reasonable timing. A pleasant experience that I recommend to anyone visiting Ischia. I will gladly return.

Unfortunately, we fell victim to a well-known scam – "catch of the day": €80/kg. Our fish certainly didn't weigh a kilo! Admittedly, it was very good, but completely overpriced for two people.
The bruschetta was much better at other restaurants.
The waiter who lured us into the restaurant was exceptionally nice, attentive, and friendly – but only until we were seated and had ordered.
And finally: things can be very different in this tourist center, as we discovered over the next few days!

We had dinner and it felt like we were in a real-life joke. The waiters didn't communicate with each other... they smoked as they passed between the tables... we ordered a pizza and they brought us another because they had run out of ingredients... It felt like a candid camera.

This was one of the best meals we had during this trip to Naples and surrounding area. Excellent salads, pizza, grigliata mista, parmigiana and wine. Nice, soft italian music in the background, colorful plates and beautiful view. Cheerful welcome and service. All worth its price!

On a Monday evening, when most restaurants are closed, we decided to try our luck finding an establishment. We stopped here. A rather pushy employee persuaded us to come in. Although I'm not a fan of that kind of business practice, we went in. To avoid going into too much detail, the food was excellent. It was well-seasoned, attractively presented, and delicious. It's well known that restaurants in Italy can be a bit noisy, but a little less noise would have been nice. The music streamed from YouTube could also have been a bit more Italian, in my opinion, but all in all, the visit was quite pleasant.

Two people from Germany visited us in the evening. A rather pushy employee stood in front of the restaurant and persuaded us to come in.
We received a friendly welcome inside. We had mozzarella with melon and mozzarella with Campana as appetizers. For our main course, we had two gnocchi. We also had beer and cola. The food was delicious. However, we felt pressured to buy more, as they kept trying to sell us additional items.
The ambiance was nice, truly Italian. The music playing on TV or YouTube was extremely loud and unpleasant. It was rather uncomfortable, which was a shame.
Ultimately, compared to other restaurants here in Ischia Town, it was far too expensive.
Excellent lunch on the terrace. Prices are still reasonable for an island. Very pleasant and attentive service.

A good place at the foot of the port. They make a very good rabbit, they also have pasta, pizza and very fresh fish. Good desserts like pistachio tiramisu and baba. Perfect price-quality ratio. Highly recommended.

Very good but rather expensive, especially the catch of the day. We ended up ordering turbot; the price wasn't mentioned at the start, and we were surprised by the price for such a small portion. You're better off ordering à la carte.
The staff were very friendly at first, but towards the end they barely looked at us, which was a shame considering the hotel VIPs seated next to us. Excellent but expensive, and the end-of-service needs improvement.
