I've been coming to Veliero whenever I can for over four years now. What can I say? For those looking for substance and not just texture, it's the TOP. I love the sardines, the cuttlefish with peas, the small mackerel, the small sole, and the risotto.

A simple yet welcoming and bright restaurant. Eating fish here is always a pleasure. Generous portions, served quickly. The fish is cooked to perfection. The portion of clams for two would have been enough for four! The staff is always friendly, and the owner, Andrea, knows how to treat his guests.

The spaghetti with clams (lupini) was delicious, and the mussels were very good. But the service was slow (it was mid-August) and inattentive to the customer. The unbearable heat and flies at the table ruined a good mid-August lunch. Powerful fans would have been enough.

Great simple local food, avoid the tourist traps, this is a real local Trattoria. I had sardines any wife spaghetti vongoli. Fresh and delicious and service eas attentative and fun.

08/09/2025: A clean and tidy place where you can enjoy a delicious piadina or cassone surrounded by nature. There are games for children to keep them entertained while you eat. The piadinas are well-filled and tasty. Good value for money.
