Ristorante Il Veliero In Rimini

Il Veliero is a good seafood restaurant with a large streetside veranda, especially convenient in the summer. The menu is simple but good quality, and the staff is friendly. The dinner menu features fresh seafood: seafood risotto and spaghetti with clams (with tons of clams, just look at the photo with the empty shells). The price is average.

This place only serves fish. They got 2-3 non-fish dishes, but don't expect more than pasta with tomato sauce. There is no veggies, not even as sides. Salat was ok though. Only recommended for fish lovers

I went to eat at Il Veliero with a work group, so I didn't choose it myself. That said, I must say the atmosphere is simple and cozy, the staff is very friendly, and the food is in line with the price. I chose a fish menu with an appetizer of spicy anchovies, shrimp cocktail, and another fish with onion and tomato, the name of which I can't remember. Then there were two first courses, a seafood risotto and ravioli with salmon and radicchio. The second course consisted of fried fish and two fish skewers. Finally, lemon sorbet, limoncello liqueur, licorice liqueur, and coffee. Unfortunately, I had already stuffed myself with the first courses and couldn't finish the fried fish and skewers, which was my favorite dish. I paid €35 ​​for the whole meal, including sparkling white wine (very good) and water. They even let me bring my dog ​​in her stroller, so they're pet-friendly. For the money I spent, I ate a lot and well, so I'd definitely go back. My only criticism is that they didn't leave enough time between courses. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place with simple dishes and a good quality/price ratio.
