We visited this restaurant for lunch over the weekend. It's family-run, and the atmosphere is refined, with small details like the flower on the table and the wooden cutlery rests.
The manager isn't very welcoming: he's often rude and, to non-locals, can seem aggressive. Even a simple question about the menu can be met with a brusque response.
We ordered an appetizer of figs and cheese, ravioli, stracotta, and dessert. The dishes were decent, with no particular highlights. The stracotta was good, the meat tender but not of the highest quality, while the baked potato was inedible.
The bill was fair (first course about €12, second course €18, cover charge €2.50 per person).
In short: the experience didn't leave us with enough reasons to return; if we return to the area, we'll definitely look for another restaurant.

An excellent restaurant serving traditional Bergamo dishes, carefully crafted and with a twist. Off-menu options include seasonal ingredients, including those sourced from local farms (some for sale).
A vast and carefully curated wine cellar with bottles for all budgets and a delicious selection of desserts.
The restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a beautiful view of the Averara Valley.

During a visit to the Averara Valley with 30 members and friends of the Bergamo Touring Club, we had lunch at Al Tagliere and found the service excellent, as well as the quality of every dish served.

Abbiamo pranzato molto bene, dal primo al dolce, in un clima di cordialità e buon servizio.
La Titolare è molto gentile e alla mano.
Accesso consentito ai cagnolini che abbiamo portato con noi.
Ci rivedremo presto.

E’ la seconda volta che torno per il mio Compleanno …. Tutto Perfetto !!! Ristorante Bello e curato, cibo ottimo con materie prime di qualità! Buona lista dei vini! Abbiamo pranzato in veranda con una bella vista sulla vallata. La Sigra Claudia, Giulia e lo staff ci hanno accolto e coccolato in maniera eccellente! Grazie ancora di Cuore per la vostra gentilezza e disponibilità! Un arrivederci a presto!
