I had dinner as a couple in this restaurant at the end of August, centrally located on a terrace next to the Follonica seafront. Each dish deserved a photo before being tasted, really well prepared and excellent. We ate the Crudite', the tagliolini with seafood, the spaghetti with cockles, and finally the cylinder of chocolate and zabaglione, all truly delicious. We spent the right amount and if we pass through Follonica we will certainly return.

I had dinner at "Il Sottomarino" in September and was very satisfied. The dishes are particular, well prepared and above all delicious, with very fresh fish. The environment is welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive.
An excellent restaurant for those looking for quality and originality in seafood dishes. Definitely recommended!

Bel locale in quel di Follonica, buon cibo , ottimo servizio ,ottima carta dei vini ,prezzo un po’ alto ma e’ giusto per il locale perché non ho dato 5 stelle ??

This fish restaurant was approved with flying colors just for the position it enjoys (panoramic view of the seafront from the terrace), which together with the excellent Mediterranean cuisine make it one of my favorite places in the Upper Maremma. Quality raw materials, impeccable service and average prices.

Approvato a pieni voti questo ristorante di pesce già solo per la posizione di cui gode (vista panoramica sul lungomare dalla terrazza), che insieme all’ottima cucina mediterranea lo rendono uno dei miei locali preferiti dell’Alta Maremma. Materie prime di qualità, servizio impeccabile e prezzi nella media.

The place is fantastic with a view of the sea. The tables are beautifully and modernly set. My jumbomaki tasted very good and was beautifully prepared. There were problems with the steak, which was quite hard and extremely full of fat and nerves. Half was inedible. The waitress said that's what the meat is like. There were 2!!!! Euro discount for that, no cafe, no apology... nothing. That's why unfortunately only 3 stars.

Charming and pleasant terrace.
The welcome is exceptional, you feel truly welcomed. The service continues along this pleasant line.
The cuisine is truly original, good, well prepared, with truly excellent combinations. It was an explosion of enchanting and balanced flavours, from the appetizer to the dessert.
Prices in line with local restaurants.
