10/12/2025: We ordered a takeout menu with a choice for three people. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. The food was ready very quickly, according to the agreed-upon time. Everything was delicious. Pappardelle, tempura, malfatti, etc., were delicious. An honorable mention goes to the pickled sardines, truly top-notch. Last but not least, they even offered delicious cookies. Worth the trip. Courtesy and smiles, too. Thank you, we'll be back! UPDATE: Takeout today, March 29, 2025, delivery was on time, and everything was delicious, even better. 😊 Delicate flavors, not overly salted like elsewhere. Fried shrimp and calamari and vegetable tempura were top-notch, but the malfatti were absolutely the best in the area. Definitely go there; it's money well spent. And last but not least, the dreamy, fresh canoncini, free cookies, and the takeout package was meticulously crafted. We'll be returning monthly. Thank you! 01/08/2025: Il Caminetto has been a favorite of the family in Italy for many years. Some menu items change with the season, and everything is perfect every time. Lunch is generally walk-in, but dinner is busy and best to have a reservation. There is a warmth and love that you can sense in all dishes. It is worth diverting a drive from the Autostrada to get one of the best meals of your life.
