I've been frequenting this place for years and always find it: fresh, friendly, quality, and the best pizza in the hills. Last night I tried the cutlet because the oven wasn't hot yet. Exceptional! And for dessert, I settled for half a pizza!! On my way out, I complimented the pizza chef and the owner!! Excellent value for money.

A lovely, cool evening in a rustic, welcoming setting. We tried the fried polenta with cheese and jam, roast chicken with baked potatoes, and a cutlet on a bed of arugula with cherry tomatoes and shaved parmesan. Everything was delicious. The only downside: the wait times were a bit long, despite the staff being extremely attentive. My compliments to Giancarlo for his impeccable service. We'll definitely try the fish menu again in the coming weekends, and definitely the pizzas, which look inviting.

Il Portone is a wonderful place to be! The atmosphere is rustic and refined, and the people who welcome us are nothing short of special. Is that enough to make a restaurant a great one? No... Indeed... The food is amazing, respectful of tradition, excellent quality, and a good variety... When we can't make it there for a few weeks... We miss it. Thanks to those who still work so passionately.
