Ristorante Il Ponticello In Arquata del tronto

This roadside restaurant is located along the Salaria road near Arquata del Tronto. The location is very basic and informal, and the service is very friendly. The Ascoli olives and cremini (fried sweets) are delicious among the fried appetizers. They're truly amazing, and I'd venture to say they're homemade, not mass-produced. I tried the tagliatelle all'amatriciana, which unfortunately didn't quite live up to expectations. The sauce was a bit watered down, and the guanciale wasn't as crispy as expected. The ricotta and spinach ravioli topped with porcini mushrooms were definitely much better. Regardless, considering the price, I highly recommend it.

Nothing fancy, just plain food. Three-piece mixed grill, baked potatoes, and two beers.

An excellent restaurant-pizzeria in a strategic point on the Salaria. We have had lunch and dinner several times and always return for the exquisite food, kindness and professionalism. Highly recommended!!!

We have already come five times starting from San Benedetto. When we are in the area we come here and always eat well, spending the right amount. The sweet Tiramisu was wonderful. The kebabs are excellent and you can never go wrong with the first courses. Excellent and plentiful.

It would be a mistake not to stop here. Kindness and excellent traditional dishes at reasonable prices.
