Finally, a true family-run restaurant, passed down through generations. Young, passionate, and professional staff who have inherited their great-grandmother's traditional recipes. Delicious pumpkin and truffle risotto. Fantastic ossobuco. We'll definitely be back. A true place in San Gimignano, now dominated by tourist restaurants.

We had dinner in early December 2025 as a couple in this charming restaurant with typical medieval features. The young staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the characteristics and quality of the wines. A word of advice from an older brother: the same passion you dedicate to wine should also be applied to the cuisine. I'll explain further. The pasta that arrived at our table (maccheroncini al ragù bono and pappardelle al cinghiale) was overcooked, certainly flavorful, but we would have preferred it al dente. The tagliata with baked potatoes, presented on a cold plate, although good, tended to cool quickly. We managed to keep it warm by covering it with the potatoes, which were nice and warm and also delicious. Dessert was saffron panna cotta... Outstanding... So, positive review, guys, you're on the right track. I hope our above observations can help you improve.

My family and I went there for a tasting evening, "among the villages and wineries of Tuscany." Each dish had its own pairing, brought from a local winery. Everything was delicious, we'll definitely be back.
