7 of us arrived at lunch and they were able to accommodate us at an outside table. Nice menu with good options plus knowledgeable help with wines. We all found something we wanted and service was efficient but not rushed. Quiet setting on small side street near one of city gates. Good recommendation from our city walk guide.

Highly recommended!
We spent €39 on a truffle risotto, pasta with wild boar ragu, and a bottle of water. The price is reasonable, but the food was truly delicious.

Don't order any grilled meat!!! They just burn it. Even baked potato were so bad and dry compare to other restaurants in the city. Nice restaurant but below average food for this price, it's a shame for such place to keep this chef.

Fabulous place, very rustic and traditional, delicious typical Tuscan dishes.
Excellent risotto with asparagus, a little dull the strozzapreti with mushrooms. The perfect rabbit melted in the mouth, as did the wild boar.
Also very good the panna cotta. Perfect service, excellent advice on the wine. A very good red from Montalcino.
Good value for money, also considering the location.

Uno dei pochissimi ristoranti NON turistici a San Gimignano. Samuele, nipote e figlio dei proprietari, ci ha trasmetto la sua sincera passione per il mondo dei vini! Piatti tipici, che ci hanno lasciati soddisfatti, soprattutto per l’onesta proporzione qualità/prezzo
L’intero staff si è dimostrato attento e gentile. Certamente diventerà una tappa fissa!
