I had risotto and beef stew for lunch. The portions were perfect for two, and the staff was friendly and delicious. It was my first risotto, and it was rich and fragrant. The meat stew was galbijjim stew, and the portion was generous. Happy trip.
Trattoria Il Pennello is a beautifully run, warm, and well-maintained establishment.
The welcome is remarkable: genuine kindness from the entire team immediately puts you at ease. The service is quick and efficient, without ever losing its attentiveness.
The dishes are truly excellent, faithful to Florentine tradition, prepared with taste and simplicity—exactly what you look for in a true Tuscan trattoria.
The value for money is excellent.
Located just steps from the center, it's a wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

We ate pappardelle with wild boar, ribollita, and panna cotta. Reasonable prices. Good quality and tasty food. The service was excellent and welcoming.

The food was incredible! The truffle tortelli tasted amazing and, although it looked like a small portion, it was very filling. The cheesecake was simply spectacular; it tasted delicious and you could tell it was homemade. The waiters were very friendly, fast, and funny. An amazing place to eat. 100% recommended.

I ordered something quite simple but the taste was everything but ordinary. The rich flavor surprised me from the first bite.
The waiter was friendly and attentive, went extra mile to prepare my tiramisu for take away. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful service we ordered and no exaggeration the food was out in two minutes. We were shocked and then we tasted it. So delicious. The service was absolutely lovely and we had a perfect night. Grazie Mille!!!
