Far too Spartan...too much of an inn...

Classic old-time venue that I don't disdain, excellent food and passable wine. There were two couples at the table and we tried the fennel cream soup, mixed grill, salad and dessert. On average just under a second course, a side dish and a dessert per person, spending €30/person. Overall an excellent place, the only sore points are the lack of a written menu with prices and the cooking smell that remains on your clothes when you leave.

We went to the Il Pendolo restaurant and tavern and left fully satisfied. Here you won't find a classic à la carte menu: the owners like to surprise guests with a journey of seasonal flavours, made up of simple, genuine and well-prepared dishes. We opted for a complete tasting menu, starting with a rich appetizer consisting of a platter of cured meats, savory pie, cheese and barley salad. Followed by a tasty trio of first courses: courgette soup, nettle and taleggio lasagna, and orecchiette with ragù. The second course included a mix of grilled meats, tripe and capon, accompanied by side dishes of dandelions, courgettes and potatoes. To conclude on a sweet note, a delicious trio of desserts: cannestrello, tiramisu and roll with Chantilly cream, strawberries and white chocolate. The final coffee is inevitable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is convivial and welcoming, almost familiar. The owners are attentive, friendly and really manage to make you feel at home. The service was excellent, as was the value for money. Highly recommended for those looking for seasonal and authentic cuisine, to be enjoyed in a relaxed and warm environment

Ero già stata con amici ed ho portato tutta la famiglia per il compleanno di mio papà. Sono rimasti tutti entusiasti da questo magnifico posto così affascinante, una vera osteria rustica, dove abbiamo mangiato da dio nella saletta tutta per noi, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. È stato un pranzo ottimo in un posto informale e incantevole. Lo consiglio vivamente
