My recent experience at Il Parco del Voltigno was, without hesitation, top-notch in every respect relevant to quality dining.
The quality of the dishes is excellent: authentic raw ingredients, prepared with skill and respect, deliver full, clean, and never artificial flavors. Here, you won't find a forced reinterpretation of tradition, but its most authentic expression: you'll be eating authentic Abruzzo, home-cooked, substantial, and sincere, rooted in the local gastronomic culture.
The extraordinarily generous portions are another strong point, especially considering the surprisingly competitive price, hard to find elsewhere for the same overall quality. It's a no-compromise offering: it fully satisfies both the palate and the customer's sense of fairness.
Special recognition goes to the owner, Sandro, a central and essential figure in the experience. Sandro doesn't just manage the restaurant: he's present, attentive, and involved in the service and in taking care of every operational and human detail. The dedication and intensity with which he conducts his business evoke a leader more than a simple restaurateur, capable of infusing a clear and coherent vision into everything that happens in his restaurant.
If I were to define "restaurant" today in the fullest, most textbook sense of the term—authentic cuisine, hospitality, substance, identity, and passion—the reference would inevitably be this place. From now on, for me, the very concept of restaurant passes through Il Parco del Voltigno.

Simple location on the outside, very nice inside. Excellent food, from appetizers to meat dishes; nothing to complain about, everything was very good. Unfortunately, the desserts aren't up to par. I'd like to give you a piece of advice: revise that last course... do something simpler. You'd be the best!

We went for the first time as a family, recommended by friends, I would gladly return. The food was excellent!! The mistake we made was ordering both cold and hot appetizers 🤦🏻, it was so much, after which they brought two huge plates of first courses, we couldn't eat anymore, ravioli were delicious!! Regardless, we went for the arrosticini... but unfortunately we didn't even order one🤣 Next time we'll start with the arrosticini and THEN see if anything else works.
Clean bathrooms and everything is there.
The €3 cover charge is very fair because you get olive oil and parmesan, and the tablecloths are beautiful and of excellent quality. Service was quite fast even though the place was busy on a Sunday, and the owner was kind and friendly.

Authentic Abruzzo cuisine and a breathtaking view of the Voltigno, just a 5-minute drive away.
Ravioli with tomato sauce that's definitely in my top 3 (try it to believe it's homemade) and fabulous, locally sourced lamb. It's pointless to praise the arrosticini, since we're back home.
A perfect dessert selection to sample everything and end your Abruzzo experience on a high note.

A typical Abruzzo trattoria. I haven't eaten some of the dishes since childhood. Everything is delicious and authentic. The staff is very friendly. Congratulations!
