Magical evening, dinner with friends ✨ first taste of the life of lake fish! Once I've eaten it here I don't know where else I'll eat it like this! Wonderful, incredible dishes, kindness, smiles and a location with attention to detail! When I return to Umbria it will be a fixed stop, thank you 🎣

We went to have lunch at this restaurant recommended by the Michelen guide on New Year's Day. The place was completely full but, fortunately, around 2.30pm a table became free and we were kindly seated by Andrea (who we discovered later, becoming curious about the history of the restaurant, was the owner). Having never tasted lake fish, we chose their fish-based tasting menu together with the wine pairing.
Before talking about the food, we want to sincerely thank Andrea, who took care of the pairing of the wines and who chose some fantastic labels for us that we appreciated very much and who served us, together with the dessert, a bottle of champagne (very good and which paired perfectly with what we were served). Knowing that we were sharing the glass in two, he abounded with quantities of all four wines that he served us and, to demonstrate this, when we left the restaurant after a lunch that lasted almost three hours we were quite in difficulty. When we asked them to repeat the name of the wine we had just drunk, they brought us the bottle and poured us a little more.
Moving on to the food, right from the amuse-bouche we were satisfied with all the dishes that were brought to us. The first course, the trout with red fruits and beurre blanc, was a pleasure for the palate. The herb buttons with the perch base and the marinated royal perch are simply perfect. Spaghetti with bottarga and chocolate is simply surprising, certainly a dish to try for those who want to try new flavors and combinations. Fantastic ending with desserts, starting from the pre-dessert with the tartlet with caramelized celery, the chestnut-based dessert and the small pastry with a delicious cake made with papaya and mango. Overall a really fantastic experience, we intend to return to Passignano sul Trasimeno maybe in a few years just to be able to eat at this restaurant again.

Tutto molto bene ,dall'ambiente (la prima sala con vista su lago sembra di stare su un attico con travi a vista!!),alla cucina con abbinamenti eleganti ed armonici,dal prezzo, giusto,al servizio,professionale e sorridente!

Locale vista lago con l'accento sulla cucina lacustre ma non solo.
Sia la trota di Lago con infuso di lamponi che il sandwich di Boccalone con caponata, Vermut e zucchina sono più che piacevoli.
Un po' deludenti per mancanza di sprint i tagliolini fatti a mano con Tinca affumicata mentre miglior piatto assaggiato risultano i bottoni di erbette, con Persico Reale marinato.
Non ci intrigano molto i dolci e ci limitiamo ad una montblanc sulla sufficienza.
Buoni i calici di Trebbiano.
Prezzi medio alti in linea con quelli di località turistiche.
