Fairly varied menu with typical proposals of the area, revisited, but not only.
Very kind and helpful staff.
Everything very good and with high quality raw materials, I gave 4 stars and not 5 to the food only because the first one, although executed to perfection, did not particularly impress me.
Note of merit for the truly excellent baked goods and extensive wine list.
I will return.
23/02/2025: I was recently invited to the La Corniola restaurant in Pescocostanzo to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had never had the opportunity to visit it before, and I must say that it was a pleasant discovery.
The place is very elegant and well-kept, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It is not surprising that it is recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, given the high level of cuisine and service offered.
I chose a soup with porcini mushrooms, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Another notable dish was the egg with truffle.
The selection of meats for the main courses is equally impressive. The quality of the meat is evident, and every bite was a pleasure.
The wine list is well-stocked, with a cellar offering a wide range of both local and international labels.
To conclude on a sweet note, we enjoyed a cake prepared directly from the restaurant kitchen, which fully met our expectations.
The prices are absolutely average, especially considering the high quality of the dishes and the service. Compared to other restaurants in the area, La Corniola stands out for its culinary excellence and attention to detail.
Without a doubt, I will return to this restaurant on future occasions, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy a high-level gastronomic experience in Pescocostanzo.
