I was a guest, so I can't comment on the price.
But... The street vendor only cleaned one room, but the tables were well-organized. As soon as you walk in, you know you didn't make the wrong choice. The staff was friendly. The tables were all occupied, but the noise and the voices of the diners gave you the impression you were alone. The silence was perfect.
As for the food, I'll just say go and try it. I don't dwell on the details, but you can tell it's all homemade and of great flavor and quality.
Obviously, the zonzelle, or whatever you call them. As for the appetizer, they're so good and light that they bring you 10 or 100 of them, and they run out.
Truly the highest quality cured meats. As for the rest... Go, order, and how. They say Tuscan... Enjoy!

Typical Reggio Emilia restaurant with appetizers based on gnocchi, cured meats, and all the classics like tortelli and cappelletti in broth, all very good. Second courses include mixed grills, roasts, and so on. Service is prompt. They're good and they work hard. The place is very noisy. When I was there in the evening, it was packed, and it was hard to talk to the person in front of me. The food is good, but it's a shame about the prices: €50 per person for a first course, second course, side dish, water, a bottle of Lambrusco, and coffee. For a place like this, I expected a little less. The parking lot was full; I parked next to the vineyard. Clean facilities, okay.

I went to this restaurant for a company dinner. I found the first courses a bit bland (pasta cacciatora and cappelletti in broth), but I quite enjoyed the second course (beef stew). However, the best course was the dessert. The service was average.

I'd say it offers excellent value for money, a rare find these days. Tried it for a table of more than 20 people. Service was quick and seamless, and the dishes were simple but well-executed. Recommended. Perhaps the only slight negative was that, given that the room was completely full, even with the anti-glare panels on the ceilings, there was still some echo, unless they had another room—not good for intimate gatherings in these cases. There was also a slightly overpowering smell of fried food from the kitchen, especially in the hallway.

A welcoming trattoria, with friendly and knowledgeable staff and excellent food. It was a special evening with the cappelletti in the shape of Parmigiano Reggiano...but the whole testo was also more than excellent and plentiful.
