The restaurant has always been run by a family from Agropoli who takes great care of the historic residence and preserves its cultural roots (even with historical photos from the Naples archives, which highlight the presence of the residence since ancient times). My experience at this restaurant was excellent. You're in a true restaurant where attention to detail is well maintained (extremely comfortable chairs, professional service, replacement forks and knives after every course, views of the Agropoli port and the ancient city, attentive customer service, an extensive wine list, and a minimalist and essential menu.) We sampled excellent seafood appetizers and then continued with spectacular linguine with red prawns. A special shout-out to the great women in the kitchen who pay attention to the details of their dishes and put so much love into what they do (I must say I tasted the best sautéed escarole I've ever tasted, excellent for its crunch and vibrant green color, not to mention the excellent ingredients used, such as pine nuts, raisins, and capers). A round of applause goes to the entire Cormorano staff. The prices are slightly above average but completely justified given the quality of the ingredients used.
