Ristorante Il Cormorano In Agropoli

I'm a little torn in writing this review, because ultimately I'm not convinced that the experience was absolutely pleasant, but neither was it the other way around. I start from the fact that I started with high expectations, this probably already influenced my final opinion. First of all let's talk about the location, perhaps one of the points that absolutely does not deserve any criticism, the tables outside enjoy an absolutely spectacular view. The review could end here, but I allow myself to continue only because, in my opinion, a restaurant that is lucky enough to enjoy a similar position deserves a different cuisine. The dishes aren't bad (of course mostly fish-based), but they fall into mediocrity, dishes you could eat anywhere (and at lower prices). As already mentioned, a wasted opportunity, because it wouldn't take much to raise it to higher standards. The staff was courteous and kind. It is easy to park if you arrive by car (at the port car park, immediately under the restaurant), but it is a little less easy to get there, given the presence of infinite one-way streets, pedestrian areas, restricted traffic zones and roads closed to traffic.

5 stars on the food! All good ! The only flaw is too many stairs! Having a stroller!

Ottima la vista della baia e del centro storico. Buono il servizio, i camerieri sono cordiali. Ottima la frittura di pesce fresco e le chicche di patate con fiori di zucca e vongole. Costoso (€30.00) l'antipasto Cormorano per ciò che mangi (due pezzetti di pesce, mezzo pomodorino giallo, una vongola, una cozza, un gamberetto, una ciliegia, un pezzetto di pesca, un pezzetto di fico........)

Absolutely positive first experience. Very tasty spaghetti with clams and water and salt not to be missed. Second less positive experience, the same more normal spaghetti. But the terrace is unique. Show! What can I say: all that remains is to have the third experience.

Price too high but you pay for the location.... average food and not much for the price you pay

Suggestive location... The food, I must say average... Highs and lows in short. My fry (€26) was terrible, soft and full of oil. The seared tuna and the scapece courgettes were really good. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone though; in my opinion, the biggest flaw is that they have high costs for what they offer. 6 people (4 adults and 2 children)... €18 cover charge.
