We were looking for a place for dinner, walking along the Franciscan Way of the Marches. The reviews were good, the staff were friendly, the place a bit shabby, but most importantly, for the same price, we'd eaten and drank better the previous few days.

Highly recommended, this family-run restaurant. I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. A must-try in this area. The menu features traditional Marche dishes, such as the delicious stuffed olives and fried cream. Simple, classic, and excellent quality, though not particularly refined, dishes. The pizza and desserts are also highly recommended. Very good and friendly service. The atmosphere is clean, pleasant, and welcoming, especially outside in the summer (reservations recommended). The restaurant is in an excellent location, close to several parking areas and just a short walk from the historic center. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Dinner with friends. We tried the fried food, the meat, and the pizza. Everything was delicious. The service was very helpful and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it!
17/09/2025: I was passing through Macerata and didn't know where to go for dinner. I scrolled through the various restaurants in the historic center on Google Maps and finally chose Osteria il Quartino despite it having an overall rating of 3.8. I chose it because the other restaurants were empty, and walking into an empty restaurant makes me sad. However, the restaurant's 1- and 2-star ratings are very old, about 3-4 years old. The recent ones were all 4-5 stars, which I fully agree with. I had a veal tagliata with gratinated vegetables. The meat was really good. There were several tables next to me with different dishes. Obviously, I didn't try them, but judging by their appearance and the comments from those who ate them, they were certainly very good. I don't know about the pizza; I didn't eat it, and I didn't see it being served at any of the tables.

28/01/2026: Truly a fantastic experience! The owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and incredibly patient (we arrived two hours late). She makes you feel right at home with her smile and helpfulness. The food is simply delicious, especially the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which is truly sublime: flavorful, fragrant, and cooked to perfection. The "chiara" (chicken omelettes) are also delicious, and even though we were full, we couldn't resist. A place we'll definitely return to, highly recommended! 🍝✨
27/10/2025: A decent restaurant, but with several areas for improvement. The entrance is unclear and can be confusing. The €40 Sunday fixed menu didn't seem appropriate for the quality, quantity, and presentation of the dishes. The staff lacks professionalism and empathy: the owner (or whoever acts as her representative) has a rigid and sometimes argumentative attitude, which makes the experience less pleasant. There's potential, but greater attention to detail and a better balance between price, quality, and service are needed. I would have given it a 2.5-star rating. I'm giving it a third star out of encouragement, but I'm sorry, I won't be back...
