Let's face it, all that makes a place beautiful or ugly is certainly the friendliness and patience of the people who receive you; I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness with which the young waitress put up with our numerous requests.
It certainly lacks a bit of the cunning with which many waiters charm their diners, and in fact we were the ones who had to steal information from them about the best dishes that the house offers. We went for the pici and ravioli that they make at home and we were all particularly delighted, especially by the ravioli, the genuine taste and the strong and pleasant flavor of the ricotta... (attention: they use the Latin name tortello instead of the vulgar ravioli).
But they are not all positive notes, there are also some flaws such as the fact that they give grated cheese which is not parmesan, but parmesan in small sachets... and they don't have pecorino... (those who don't like pecorino can stop read!) and you have to work hard to get them to give you a bruschetta and if they tell you they have bruschetta, you have to ask them for at least a dozen of them, because they are small. Then another unpleasant note is the fact that animals are allowed, and therefore there are dogs that perhaps come to sniff near your feet which could be a problem for those who suffer from some allergies, even if this is more rude than the owners of the dogs that not the restaurateur who can do little.
Finally, the taste with which the place is furnished leaves something to be desired with various cardboard boxes left around the place without a minimum of decoration, especially under a food rack;
I agree that one goes to eat and not to admire the place, but, let's face it, the eye also wants its part and not only on the dishes, but also in the context where you are eating.

Here you can taste the true Amiata cuisine with a base of mushrooms and chestnuts, excellent pork fillets with mushrooms. A slightly dated environment requires radical renovation and the switching on of radio and television equipment that disturbs customers in the room must be avoided. Quality and price more than exceptional.

Excellent attention to those with celiac disease or allergy problems. They also have plastic cutlery for those who have problems. Excellent cuisine, very kind and professional staff, a place where you feel at home!

Sent to the Cantinone by a friend, 8 of us had dinner and we took advice from the owner: mushroom soup, pici with porcini mushrooms and cinta ragù (at will), sliced with porcini mushrooms and fried porcini mushrooms (at will), water, wine and beer. We left pleasantly full and satisfied with the goodness of the food and with a bill in line with the quantity and quality of the dishes. Congratulations indeed👏

Sono piacevolmente tornato dopo 5 anni in questo bel locale, a gestione famigliare, dove spicca la qualità e la genuinità delle pietanze, spicca l’ottima gestione del locale e come saper coccolare il cliente, con un sorriso, cosa molto rara in questa zona d’Italia. Ottimo bravi ! Continuate così
