Ristorante Il Calcagnino In Formigine

I was here with my husband last night for the San Lorenzo celebration in the square. After the visit to the castle we saw this restaurant inside and we couldn't resist. We hadn't booked but they immediately seated us. A very sweet and well-prepared boy served and accompanied us throughout the evening, also advising us on how to best savor the dishes. We were very sorry that we couldn't say goodbye to him when we left, because he never left the kitchen again 😅 We took the 'Strolling around... Italy!' menu. The fried aubergine millefeuille is a delight, as is the guinea fowl breast, excellent cooking! In the end, the strawberry tiramisu was the apotheosis of pleasure for me, mascarpone and strawberries... Perfect pairing! And finally a little surprise treat with a sugar cube and 70° of pure herbal fire 🤣 too good!!! Will I go back? Surely!!!

Personale attento cortese molto molto presente. Dal menu mi aspettavo meglio : calzagatti 4 mono mini porzioni poco saporiti, faraona che prende la sufficienza ma sono uscito affamato. Location molto bella.prezzi corretti per il servizio e la presentazione

Finding yourself in a place by chance and discovering a gem... Very good restaurant, in a unique location. We had lunch outside, on their outdoor porch. Exceptional food, great service. Absolutely recommended

Beautiful location inside the Formigine Castle. Super friendly staff and attentive to customer needs. Simple entrée but very good and well presented. Super soft meat too! Delicious and tasty parmigiano reggiano pudding appetizer with spinach. Ditto for desserts.

I was here for a baptism, very clean place, excellent service and young and competent dining room staff, attention to detail and professional behavior that was up to the task, despite the clientele being demanding. From the appetizer buffet to the dessert, everything was very balanced and well presented; unfortunately it fell on the second course of meat, which was slightly stringy (personal taste). I will definitely be back!

Location affascinante. Personale accurato, presente, accogliente. Cibo davvero particolare, senza dubbio curatissima la presentazione e sapori ricercati. L'estetica è top. I prezzi sono elevati, ma considerando location, servizio e piatti, non potrebbe essere diversamente.
