For a wedding lunch. Food, service and environment are all ok. For the rest, the newlyweds who contacted the restaurant were asked to pay for everything in advance and here I would already have something to say, but they are young and in a particular period and accepted so that's it. After that they were presented with an extra for 30 bottles of wine at €20 each, even 20 would have been a lot. They took advantage of it a TOTAL. In order not to find anything to say and to end everything in the best way, the guys PAID and THAT'S IT. THEY DIDN'T MAKE A GREAT FIGURE, what you deserve is ok beyond.......... We also work with word of mouth but in this case BYE. Even for a wedding, money doesn't rain from the sky. Anyway, good work to Calcagnino.

On the occasion of my niece's wedding I discovered this restaurant.
Excellent service, the waiters are kind and available to satisfy your requests immediately.
We had dinner in the meadow and I must say that the location is truly remarkable with the Formigine castle as a backdrop and the food is the first course, such as gnocchi and tortelloni excellent, measured portion and accurate presentation of the food.
The second course was an excellent Guanciale very tasty and soft cooked to perfection it melted in the mouth and also the potatoes excellent.
Since a storm came suddenly, they managed to move everything under the porch in a nano second to be able to watch the cutting of the cake. I recommend this place, as for the prices I can't tell you because as I said it was a wedding,

Extraordinary food, top quality raw materials cooked with skill.
Kind, prepared and smiling staff.
Location? A CASTLE!!!!!!!
The bill is certainly not low..... But deserved! When you give so much.... It is right to be paid adequately!!!

I was here with my husband last night for the feast of San Lorenzo in the square. After visiting the castle we saw this restaurant inside and we couldn't resist.
We hadn't booked but they immediately seated us.
A very sweet and well-prepared boy served us and accompanied us throughout the evening, also advising us on how to best enjoy the dishes. We were very sorry we couldn't say goodbye to him when we left, because he never came out of the kitchen 😅
We took the 'A walk around... Italy!' menu
The fried eggplant millefeuille was a delight, as was the guinea fowl breast, cooked excellently!
In the end the strawberry tiramisu was the pinnacle of enjoyment for me, mascarpone and strawberries... Perfect combination!
And to finish a little surprise treat with a sugar cube and 70° of pure herb fire 🤣 too good!!!
Will I go back? Definitely!!!

We are back on June 13, 25 for our anniversary. The friendliness and education in this place are the masters.
Always excellent cuisine with a completely revisited menu.
