Metti un sabato di lavoro con il cielo grigio e pioggerellina e poi scopri il ristorante il cacciatore certamente in una posizione particolare sulla statale del turchino e scopri una organizzazione famigliare vecchio stampo con piatti sinceri e di spessore con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo dai primi più montani delle polente con capriolo cervo a grigliate da condividere tanto erano abbondanti ma se poi si vuol restare più leggeri anche pizze di ottima fattura e secondi di carne di tutto rispetto..

Stayed in the associated hotel for one night while traveling through. For dinner we had beer, soft drinks, 2x pizza and 2x pana cotta. Food was tasty, cheap and good portions. Staff friendly, communication was also in English. Some of the furnishings were very worn.

In stagione di funghi, torniamo sempre volentieri nella trattoria, dove il cibo è buono, le porzioni abbondanti, e i funghi sono divini. Qui è una garanzia trovare porcini della valle, gustosi, profumati. Il prezzo è giusto. L'atmosfera molto informale della trattoria, è un incentivo a fare la scarpetta col sugo. Ottimi i ravioli fatti a mano, si sente che sono artigianali.

Pizzeria La Pesa

27/02/2025: Where a pizza becomes a culinary experience... During our 14-day trip to Piedmont we learned that the quality in the restaurants everywhere is extremely good. This experience ranges from the gourmet restaurant to the simple osteria to the agriturismo farm in the countryside. The people who live here attach great importance to fresh, genuine products of local origin and of the best quality. When we returned to our accommodation near Sarezzano after an extensive excursion, we decided to visit the pizzeria La Pesa in the village of Grue, just a few km away, without making a reservation. The restaurant is the only one in the 300-resident community. Because we got there very early, we were able to get a table on the terrace. As the evening progressed, the restaurant was filled to capacity - half the village and surrounding residents seemed to come here for dinner. We both chose a pizza at the highest price level and were very surprised and very satisfied with the result, baked in the charcoal oven. The dough was prepared with a gray flour that comes from the village. The color was similar to a pinsa dough, but made from different types of flour. The tomato topping was San Marzano Agro Nacerino Sarnese - these are the best grown at the foot of Vesuvius. Fior di Latte (cow's milk mozzarella) from Campania, spinach, nuts, ricotta and salsiccia were also used. The result: a pizza like no other. In addition to the aromatic San Marzano tomatoes, my wife's pizza was served with buffalo mozzarella, cooked panchetta, cherry tomatoes, basil, semi-dry yellow tomatoes and Evo olive oil, which originally comes from Umbrian olives and was recultivated by the University of Perugia. The difference to a pizza in Germany, which is formulated for maximum profit, is gigantic. In this pizzeria we cook for the people who live here and not for a quick euro with tourists who won't be coming back anyway. That's why we love Piedmontese cuisine, where the quality of ingredients and taste are priority - happy Italy.

06/03/2025: For me it's a regular stop when I'm in the area with the truck. There is a shower service, ample parking... Excellent minestrone and boiled meat..... Very kind owner and staff.... For those traveling and passing through it is recommended.... Simone
