I'm giving it 5 stars only because you can't go any higher. It's a bit awkward to get to due to a fairly steep climb between the parking lot and the restaurant, but it's worth the effort: the location is elegant, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and the food is superb. Highly recommended!

A fantastic location in the Reggio Emilia hills, steeped in history (Bianello Castle), you can enjoy traditional dishes from the local food and wine tradition, with a touch of inventiveness. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. Just a few thoughts: a little background music wouldn't hurt, and I'd recommend comfortable walking shoes if you book. There's a fairly steep, gravel road to get to the restaurant. Congratulations!!!

Beautiful location but very disappointing first course gnocchi with octopus very salty baked potatoes undercooked dry loose water immediately hot paid 3 euros each you should be more careful the prices are medium high the quality can be paid a lot but also the care in making it thanks

We had dinner at this restaurant. The location, right below Bianello Castle, is truly picturesque. The summer terrace overlooks the plain. Our appetizers were excellent, with excellent ingredients. The first courses were also very carefully crafted and well-balanced (gnocchetti with porcini mushrooms and octopus, passatelli alla norma). The rabbit in tuna sauce with quail eggs was also excellent, as were the desserts. The service was attentive to detail and quick, making us completely satisfied.

A magnificent location with a stunning balcony and view. A few dishes, but well-researched and carefully prepared, with delicious wine pairings. From appetizers to dessert, everything is delicious, unpretentious, and generously portioned. The service is precise and professional, but above all, friendly and cheerful. Of course, quality, location, and professionalism come at a price, but every now and then it's nice to indulge.

High-end restaurant, certainly not cheap but in line with the excellent food and service. Impeccable service that was able to propose lactose-free variations to their dishes in an instant. For children there are tortelli and pasta with ragù for example, for adults more refined dishes. The fried gnocco is good but in my opinion a little heavy, high quality cured meats as well as the very good meat and perfectly cooked. Very good tortelli as well as the egg pancake. We had lunch on Sunday and then we visited the Bianello castle which is adjacent. The restaurant's parking lot is about 80/100 meters away, with a narrow uphill road. Those who have walking problems must be accompanied in front of the restaurant by car but where they may not be able to park because there will be space for only one car or at most two, depending on whether it is free.

Pranzo con amici. Ai piedi del Castello di Bianello, ristorante con ambiente curato, personale cortese e preparato. Antipasto con mousse di mortadella e cipolle caramellate offerto dalla casa. Oltre al menú solito proponevano due piatti del giorno: Chili e carpaccio di manzo, che abbiamo scelto oltre ad una portata con baccalà e carciofi. Dolci: crema di zabaione freddo con amarene e sbrisolona, bianellomisù: un tiramisu scomposto con macarons, pastiera scomposta. Piatti curati ed apprezzati da tutti. Unica pecca, per i nostri palati, i dolci troppo “dolci”. Prezzi adeguati. Consigliato.
