Extraordinary, a girl who spoke Spanish served us, we went and it was full and she gave us a table in 30 minutes. The food was good and she was super friendly, just for the attention of a person like that the places are worth it. Many thanks for everything

Visitata in lungo ed in largo la bellissima Ibla, ricca di tesori e di sorprese ad ogni angolo, decidiamo di cenare in questo ristorante. Anche se non avevamo prenotato ed era domenica sera, ci fanno accomodare e un cameriere molto cortese ci consiglia su vini e pietanze. Mia moglie sceglie il pesce, un bel polpo arrosto su mantecato di patate novelle, arricchito da una fetta di San Daniele croccante e un po' di lime e quindi un Grillo, io opto per delle fettuccina al pesto di pistacchio, con pomodoro secchi , il classico "capuliato" , con pezzettini di maiale croccante e che ricopro di abbondantissimo caciocavallo. Sopra mi ci bevo un Syrah. Entrambi poi ci spazzoliamo una caponatina agra e dolce al punto giusto. Cena leggera ma gustosa, servizio prezioso, tradizione e genuinità per neppure 70 euro in due.

Surprisingly, our best meal of our trip. We were here on New Year's Day and we unsure due to other reviewers. Lovely ambiance, house wine was excellent (for the price of course) and the food itself was perfect. We will be back when next in Ragusa!

Friendly staff attentive to customer needs. Excellent quality of local products used. Cooked and presented with skill. Excellent choice of wines. Prices in line with the quality of the dishes presented.

Il locale si presenta molto elegante, ordinato e pulito. Proprietario disponibile trovandoci un posto all’ultimo minuto di sabato sera. Pizza con impasto classico… materia prima nella media, ma di qualità. La mia grigliata era fatta bene… ma forse avevo un aspettativa diversa viste le recensioni. Comunque lo consiglio

Good restaurant in the center of Ibla

We spent a Sunday here in Ragusa Ibla and decided to eat here because we were intrigued. The guys in the room were very kind and helpful. And the food was great!

The restaurant "Il Barocco" exceeded my expectations. It offers authentic Sicilian and Italian cuisine with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. It is ideal for a romantic evening or a family dinner. The service is good and (I think it is the owner) the boss is attentive and with an innate class of times gone by. In particular, I savored a rich platter of local cured meats and cheeses and a delicate pumpkin tortelli with crunchy bacon crumble: a perfect dish for those who love delicate flavours. I have no doubts: if I ever end up in Ragusa again, I will return!

Very suggestive location in the historic center of Ibla, excellent food as well as service. Good value for money. Strongly recommended.

+ nice waiters. Helped with cell phone. + You could watch inside how the pasta was freshly prepared! How the dough was formed. Also very authentic with the pizza oven. + nice restaurant. In a side street, not quite so crowded. Nice to sit. + Everything tastes very good! We had stuffed tortelloni with tomato sauce and a mixed grilled fish platter. Plus the potatoes and grilled vegetables. Less good: - It was very expensive for what you ended up getting. - The portions were very small. We actually wanted to share the fish platter, but that was a joke for two people. And for 25€... Good thing we ordered the side dishes with it. - Potatoes were literally swimming in oil 😅🙈 but they were delicious.
