My partner and I took a tour of Garfagnana and stopped here for lunch: an excellent choice!
We started with a delicious appetizer, including truly incredible fried porcini mushrooms—perfect frying, 10 out of 10. Next, we had farro soup and tagliatelle with mushrooms, both very tasty and well-prepared.
But what made the experience even more special was the lady who served us: extremely kind, friendly, and passionate. When I told her how much I enjoyed the savory tart on the platter, she brought me another piece... on their behalf!
An authentic place, excellent value, and a truly unique welcome. Highly recommended; it's exactly what you expect (and hope) to find in such a beautiful area!

Very nice place and very friendly staff. Excellent service. Fantastic appetizers with locally produced cured meats and cheeses. Among the first courses, try the Garfagnana "lingue" (pasta-shaped pasta) with wild fennel pesto. The fresh blueberries with ice cream are also excellent. Definitely worth a try!

A wonderful little restaurant! The staff were very kind and helpful (also helping us practice our Italian) and the food was absolutely delicious. There was no vegetarian main dish, but we were quite satisfied with a primo piatto and a coffee.

Great meal, patient service (he was very busy and handled it all with aplomb)- not a single dish was less than great. The chicken was especially good. We sat outside, it was nice. I’d say go for the food, take a walk through the old city, the ambience is perfectly pleasant.
