Retro but quiet atmosphere, satisfying portions. Decent carbonara, certainly not the best in Rome but acceptable. Fair prices, not exaggerated.

Very welcoming environment. Excellent service and abundant and very good dishes. Highly recommended!! Unfortunately I only have the photo of the excellent carbonara but everything else was worth it too

Se vuoi mangiare dei buoni piatti della tradizione romana, sei nel posto giusto. Locale accogliente e pulito, personale gentile e prezzi modici. Tutto ok.

Sono stato in questo locale senza conoscerlo, durante una passeggiata alla Garbatella. Pur essendo pieno, il cameriere, molto gentile, mi ha trovato subito posto. Tavolo con tovaglia a quadrettoni che mette allegria, menù ampio e tipico romanesco. Antipasti ottimi, tra tutti quello misto e i crostini alla crema di guanciale. Primi abbondanti e secondi squisiti. La coda alla vaccinara è stupenda, peccato porizione non abbondante (il motivo del 4). Prezzi adeguati alla qualità, non bassi ma corretti. Da tornarci.

30/05/2024: It's kind of what you come to Italy for. It's located in an area that looks like you might get murdered but the food is absolutely great. It's a simple place, nothing super fancy or chic but the food is what you go for, classic Roman dishes done well at a reasonable price with good service, 100% better than the crap most people are eating up the road at the holiday park and paying more for. If you are staying at the park, venture out, and try the place. Also extremely good with gluten free and certified by the Italian coeliac society.
04/05/2024: In een buitenwijkje vind je dit voortreffelijke typisch Romeinse restaurant. Geen pizza, maar de echte authentieke Romeinse keuken. Echte aanrader, tegen mooie prijzen!
