Ristorante I Capitelli In Sarzana

We've been coming to this restaurant for ten years now, and we've always had a wonderful experience, in every way. This evening we enjoyed shrimp risotto and Ligurian-style sea bass, both exceptional: top-quality ingredients and impeccable preparation. Added to all this is the kindness, helpfulness, and attentiveness of the entire staff, which always make the difference. After ten years, we can say it's a sure thing: as always, we'll be back!

A very elegant restaurant in the historic center of Sarzana (the streets of antique dealers): the location is very picturesque—but be careful, it's in a restricted traffic zone. For this reason, I greatly appreciated the restaurant owner's detailed information when booking, given that I'd be traveling with a person with limited mobility (and then, when we arrived, he kindly inquired about the arrangements). The restaurant is beautiful and charming, with brick barrel vaults inside, but there were also some lovely tables outside. The spaces are spacious and the tables comfortable, and the service is friendly and efficient. The gastronomic offering is varied and successfully combines the flavors of Tuscany, Emilia, and Liguria—there's a seafood menu, a meat menu, and a specialty menu (all à la carte). We opted for the latter, as we couldn't resist the tagliolini with truffle (bianchetto di San Miniato), which were truly exquisite! Finally, there's an excellent dessert menu. We had a delicious cup of Chantilly cream with fresh fruit. In short, we ended the evening on a high note... a truly enjoyable evening! The wine list is also very interesting. I don't live in Sarzana, but I've been going there for many years for various reasons. This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery! I think this will become one of my favorite destinations.

Excellent location, super dishes, supreme tartare, recommended by Adriana, prepared by Dorotea, it was truly sublime! Not to mention the other dishes!

Pleasant dinner, excellent raw ingredients, highly recommended the fregola with seafood, truly excellent. Very fresh raw fish.
