Ottima qualità delle materie prime, pesce freschissimo. Squisite le tartare, in particolare quella di ricciola era da applausi. Particolari e da provare le tagliatelle al nero in bisque di gamberi, finocchietto e crudo di gamberi rossi e udite udite… spolverata di cocco. Ho apprezzato anche il giro di tavolo finale dello chef per chiederci se fosse andato tutto bene. Complimenti!
First weekend of our life in Milan, we accidentally end up in this restaurant on Sunday 03/03/24. Superlative lunch, impeccable service, with detailed descriptions and pleasant conversations with the staff. The young owner of the restaurant is extremely courteous, hospitable, kind, friendly and professional. So much so that he even offered us a ride in his car at the end of the meal. A unique experience from the food to the climate, including the recommended prosecco (officially one of my favourites). We will certainly return to this place when we return to Milan. You have to come to Glauco with the desire and awareness of treating yourself to a fantastic fishing experience, a journey through the freshest raw materials and excellent preparations both to the eye and in the mouth.
A really interesting menu offers many choices. After an entree based on Sicilian scampi with flaked almonds, very delicate, I had a complete tasting of crudités, consisting of 4 oysters of 3 different types, red prawns from Mazzara, scampi with its tartare, tuna carpaccio, 2 other types of prawns and tartare. A really well made composition of the highest quality and freshness.
I then continued with a slice of amberjack in a pistachio crust and tuna in a sesame crust with a slice of peach and soy acacia honey. Here too we are talking about a truly applause-worthy dish, among other things figuratively done to the chef! Fantastic flavors and perfect combinations, crunchiness, acidity and flavor in perfect harmony. If I really wanted to find a quibble, I would have made the peach slices a little thinner.
I continued with a lobster and redfish gazpacho with brioche bread. Excellent preparation where the excellent raw materials combined beautifully with each other. The gazpacho is really excellent with intense aromas of pepper.
Closing with a bang with a surprising composition full of bold combinations consisting of grilled seared octopus on Sicilian scampi tartare, mullet bottarga and delicate tuna sauce.
The lunch was accompanied by a pure Schiava grape from Trentino Girlan which accompanied our dishes very well.
Honorable mention for the service, simply impeccable, attentive and ready to satisfy our every request including the strangest ones!
