Top quality at very honest prices. Very generous portions, highly recommended. Very friendly owner and waiters and quick service. Informal and welcoming environment, typical of a family restaurant, quiet and relaxing. Great experience and I can't wait to go back! Very interesting Florentine, which is the reason that pushed me to eat at this inn.

Very convenient at the motorway exit, with a varied menu and many traditional Bolognese dishes. The nice and kind waitress also advised us on wines. Too bad about the homemade desserts which didn't seem very fresh...maybe because they were closed for holidays? However I recommend it and would go back

We went to the La Pioppa inn for a dinner for two after booking our table through TheFork. We were greeted with kindness and helpfulness by the staff and, once we had chosen our table we were joined by a very kind and cheerful waitress who brought us the menus. We ordered an appetizer with crescentine and mixed smoked meats, a plate of handmade tortellini with Bolognese ragù and a pork chop with a side of baked potatoes. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food. We recommend this place for the kindness of the staff and the quality. Furthermore, by booking with TheFork we got a 50% discount on our order (excluding drinks and cover charge).

We have been there 3 times, on all 3 occasions the service was very slow and messy. At least the food is good, but the kitchen and staff should be more organised.
