I had an all-inclusive first course prepared at my request, so I can express my honest opinion. I must admit that it was delicious, as were all the other meals I ordered, including dessert, which rounded out the evening.

Looking for a restaurant open for lunch we had the pleasure of discovering "Il Girasole": a quiet and hospitable place, excellent cuisine and truly admirable, friendly and super helpful staff. A great find!

Four friends came for lunch. The main course was excellent, with a zampina (a kind of meatball) as our main course, but we also enjoyed the appetizer and main course. The staff was also excellent, and they were able to recommend the right portions (but I had a second helping of the zampina 😂). It deserves a second try.

Giotto - Pizza a 360

17/08/2025: I don't like the new location, which is too modern and chaotic. There's too much noise and people talking. The old one was more intimate. The pizzas are still good, but the prices are too high. Lots of staff, and fast service.
13/08/2025: Very good pizza, perfect dough, and especially different types of dough... the citrus one is very delicate and doesn't overpower the other flavors. Service was very slow at first when ordering... but then the staff was attentive. A small flaw with the appetizers, nothing special: the cold arancini, and the carbocrema meatballs were nothing special. It was really nice to see the crème brûlée "burn" at the table or the burrata cheese being cut open on the pizza.

09/08/2025: A beautiful, elegant, and rustic inn in the historic center of Cassano; little publicity is given, but once you sit in one of the two small but welcoming rooms, you understand why: they don't need it; the quality of their offerings is their calling card. The menu features refined and carefully crafted dishes, resulting in a truly successful combination of flavors and aromas. For our first visit, we enjoyed the octopus tentacle on roasted potatoes and spaghetti with anchovies, fennel, and fried bread for our main courses. One word: exceptional!!! Service is entrusted to the lady (I believe the owner, who is currently pregnant 😍❤️) who was able to advise us on the wine selection, as well as offering us a welcome dry sparkling wine. The prices are perfectly in line with the service and the quality of the menu. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended. Well done!
