For my vacation in Val Fiorentina I chose the family-run Hotel Giglio Rosso. Very good choice: beautiful spacious room with two balconies, good food and very hospitable managers.

Very friendly staff, excellent food

The rooms are smaller, clean, cleaning is fine and without problems. Unfortunately, our bathroom smells of urine and even repeated ventilation doesn't help, I think it's coming from the drain. The rooms have zero soundproofing, you can hear enough of what is happening around. The biggest disappointment is probably the food, it's miserable. Like you eat it, but it's just matter rather than something you enjoy, let alone look forward to. If instead of 3 courses as part of the dinner, they would rather make 1 proper one, everyone would probably be happier.

Dinner really tasty. The breakfast buffet is the same every day. Very poor service. Two ladies who probably hate their jobs unfortunately. When something happens, they don't notice. One must not be afraid to tell oneself. They have a steady frown. I haven't seen them smile even once in 4 days. Rooms suitable for a maximum of 2. At 4 we were boxing and had nowhere to put our things. Very nice wellness.

A cozy family-type hotel. Smiling, helpful staff and very good food, Quiet place. Sauna, large heated ski deposit.
