Traditional restaurant. Authentic, tasty food. Anna is friendly and kind. The atmosphere is family-friendly. The price is reasonable. I had a great time.

A small, very family-friendly restaurant. One of the highlights of our three-week trip to Italy. We ate the local specialty "Riso di Pilota," which was delicious, as were all the desserts and limoncino. Anna, Maurizio, and Matteo cooked and served us delicious food. Ciao Francesco + Family

Aesthetically it is not a trendy or refined restaurant but the dishes offered are very good all traditional. I love to eat the risotto alla mantovana super, however the dishes offered are many, the portions are very abundant the vegetables all prepared with care and very good. Mrs. Anna takes care of the room and the service is very nice and attentive to the requests of the customers. After the coffee she offered us arancino liqueur made by her, chocolates and sweets

Garden = Home. Simple, rustic and familiar environment (max 30-35 seats). Authentic food (mainly Mantua cuisine), few dishes but really done as they should. Risotto alla pilota is the flagship dish. If you want the one with the addition of puntel (pork ribs) you should book. Don't come if you expect the classic eat & go quick service restaurant. Here you sit back and relax knowing that whatever you eat you will be satisfied. The owner dictates the times (strong character but kind manners), a bit like your mother/grandmother when you are at home. Depending on the day and the number of diners, table service can be more or less rapid but it matters little. Just like at home, if available, the Lady always offers you an encore. If you find it full, don't give up, try until you succeed, it will be worth it!
