Very good food, friendly, not overpriced

We had a fantastic meal at Giampippo during our visit to Sardinia and can't recommend it highly enough. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The pasta dishes were incredible – clearly made with care and expertise. The pizzas, cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, were simply amazing with that perfect crispy crust and authentic flavor you can only get from a proper horno a leña. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. The desserts were equally impressive and provided the perfect ending to our meal. Beyond the outstanding food, the atmosphere was wonderful. They played beautiful Italian music throughout our dinner, which added to the authentic and enjoyable dining experience. The service was excellent – attentive, friendly, and professional. If you're looking for genuine Italian cuisine in Sardinia with great ambiance and top-notch service, Giampippo is a must-visit. We left completely satisfied and would happily return!

A quality, friendly restaurant with generous portions and excellent service. A special mention goes to Ms. Khadija, who was so communicative with us. I highly recommend it!

My partner and I went here for a quiet dinner. We shared a mussel appetizer and then both had spaghetti with clams—mine with bottarga, hers with the regular ones. Everything was good, the service excellent, and everyone was very friendly. My only criticism is the price: €70 for two, not including dessert or coffee. It seems excessive given the quantity of spaghetti, a bit small for a €22 dish.

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance as it’s tucked away off the beaten track and we’re so pleased that we found it. No problem finding a table amongst the regulars and the service was quick, efficient and very friendly, we felt very welcomed and enjoyed all the food that we ordered. The house wine was excellent and we were entertained by the owner playing a variety of songs on a music box as he moved amongst the diners. All in all a great place to visit and we will be eating there again at some point.
